  • all sectors of human kind should be involve with the campaign!Count me in..

  • This is very informative. I like this one. It settles certain issues about the environment.

  • "Global Warming: Is the Science Settled Enough for Policy?"

The answer, of course, is "Yes." The science was settled over a decade ago.

  • The same scientific community arguing for GW is the same community that has split the atom and put man on the moon.

They do tend to be objective, which is why they've been so successful and productive.

I'm more inclined to trust them than right-wing Americans who think everything is a "socialist" conspiracy.

  • @DrunkenPoetic Who told you that? and what gives you the authority to state that? I am not interested in politics only science and I am disgusted that science has been corrupted. There is no proof that man has or will warm the climate and there never will be any proof. Consensus is nothing, evidence and proof is everything in Science.

  • @DrunkenPoetic Well moron, your argument is "argument from authority".The community you speak of can be recognized only if it applies the same methodology. Dr. Stephen clearly does not belong to this community. That scientific core took experimental evidence, adjusted them with statistical methods and corrected the initial assumptions with the experimental evidence.

  • I love it when a serious, credible scientist comes along and intellectually butt-fucks all the competition.

Richard Dawkins masturbates to this kind of thing.

  • @DrunkenPoetic Haha, well said sir. I was really fired up after watching this.

  • Does not take a university student to know that the answer is NO!.

Mankind needs to prepare for the changes the Celestial warmings will cause and our food production methods. Cap and Trade will not make 1% difference, so why bother, unless goverments wants to tax people to death!.

  • Life does fusion from water

  • GW was PR fiction from nuclear power: So not true.

  • I think those who are against Global Warming are not considering what we are learning from the research. I can't say I'm for or against the 'theory' of anthropogenic climate change, cause I would only be reciting what I've heard. I'm for going against the orthodox opinion, but lets not do so with ignorance and bliss.

  • we should be seeing a wave of GW science advocates right about now.....being that their livilihood is at stake.

i bet all the scientist that RELY on climate research grants have put down their notebooks....taken off the labcoats...and are out and about blogging or here on youtube pathetically trying to defend their socialist cashcow with more of the same...DECEIT!

way to help the socialist politicians find another way to tax the shit out of us!!!

    thanks alot "scientists"

  • for some odd reason your comment had been labeled spam...i unmarked it.

i read about the texas sized garbage patch in the pacific that no one gives a rats ass about....but if they could tax it and make money that garbage patch would be the largest danger on earth(according to politicians).

seems to me that if a texas sized garbage patch 6 ft thick can put itself together on its own out there that having a self sustaining ocean farm could be feasible.

  • Yes. Wether global warming is true or not, life forms are made of carbon and their existence would remove it from the air. Also photosynthesis doesnt hurt us.

The selling points to everyone should be that.

    However..

Ponds with algae(seaweed hold double the amount of fish), so feeding our fish populations wouldnt hurt.

Also. We could tow a few hundred acres into shore if countries have food crisis. Then there is use as fuel.

Tons of reasons and cheaper than kyoto.

  • phil jones, head of IPCC, admits that there has been no global warming since 1995.

IPCC has been lying for 15yrs just for political greed at the expense of the american people.

  • Jones said that the warming has been just barely below the 95% significance level over that one time period and hastened to add that there's clear and statistically significant warming over larger data sets. Distortions and conspiracies are all you have left because as the video illustrates the scientific argument that our greenhouse gas emissions do indeed impact the greenhouse effect is so strong.

  • does reality sting???

why else would you be here?

  • I was here because somebody responded to a comment below so I clicked on the link in the email, which is why I'm back. Any numerate person with the capacity to search the web can confirm that I'm right that about what Jones said. I'm not inclined to continue an argument that I've already won, however. Just look it up.

  • @jrshipley

    yea you are right.

jones said "there has been no statistically significant global warming since 1995"

    you win.

  • @jrshipley

remember now....Jones was considering suicide because HE knew that the American people KNEW that he LIED and he almost didnt have the balls to man up and face the music! shame huh? bet you wish he just did himself in and kept quiet.

  • climate gate is peaking out.

phil jones admitted that he had considered suicide rather than face the public.

people who beleive AGW are so misled and out of touch that they can not cope with reality once it is presented to them.

    AL gore..phil jones...IPCC....NWO

    NWO

  • check out the exclusive interview this week with scientist Robert Ballard of Titanic fame at Fresh Dialogues channel - he tells it straight

  • This is a terrific video. Anyone who watches the video then looks at the comments will see how out of touch the deniers have become. It's actually quite telling that they're turning to conspiracy theories now. It shows just how compelling the scientific case has become that they have no recourse but to attack the integrity of the scientific process itself.

  • the conspiracy theory turned to us you fucking worthless sheep.

  • Exactly.

Note also that people who are made aware of labels like "climategate", and other labels simply parrot what they hear the a.m. talk radio shills say, without even knowing what or where the label came from. Instead of reading books like Stephen Schneider's "Science as a Contact Sport" which explains his position over time, they are simply manipulated by Rush, Erik, Glen, and/or Faux News. They don't read. They are simply sheeple/teevee zombies.

  • short answer:

no, global warming is not proved.

  • the might as well be playing house at copenhagen.

    global warming is dead.

a thing called evidence killed it.

  • In one e-mail, published in The Washington Post, a scientist wrote, "We can't account for the lack of warming at the moment and it is a travesty that we can't."

plenty more highly suspicious emails that were made by AGW promoting scientists. Thank god for the thieves that hacked and stole these emails...they are better people/theives than people like al gore

GLOBAL WARMING IS COMPLETE HORSEWSHIT AIMED AT A GLOBALIZED GOVERNING BODY>>>AKA NWO!!!

  • Sorry bud but it is clear that you have absolutely no knowledge of science. that so called hacked email was in the introduction of his paper. But of course you or the republican haven't bothered to read those. there was nothing suspicious in those emails.

  • jordan

first off you can take your democrat/republican talk and stick it where the sun dont shine...ok?

    that said....

maybe you can you give me an indoctrination class! it seems that i believe lies like goretex absorbs water...maybe YOU can permeate my mind with garbage!

  • I've posted a video response to answer questions posted here about the actual scientific facts that Dr. Schneider's talk is based upon. The science is solid, watch my video response!

  • you are a liar.

  • "Global warming is just rife and I hear IPCC connections. Not enough camera view the cult of personality.

65 of the camera crew and then 5 remained.

We must stop sweat shops, like polo.

    HIs medaphor is strange/gooofy.

Why dismiss the bell curve theroy.

Why don't you illustrate those findings the man is causing global ?

Has it ever imaged that "the sun" causes this problem

Does risk management occur ocording to the point'e he stated"

  • In summary we DONT KNOW! a reasonably fair approach in comparison to ther climate change videos, accepts the lack of knowledge.

  • Stanford University´s Global Climate & Energy Project(GCEP),is financed by General Electric, Toyota, Schlumberger and Exxonmobil. And Exxonmibil is the largest sponsor by far with 100 million dollars.

  • Scientists like Dr. Schneider would do this type of research regardless of who funds them. Do you really think all scientists can be bought? If so, "you're a dining room table."

  • I don't believe that the media spins a controversial spin on the global warming issue. I think they give much more media attention to the extreme anthropogenic projected climate change. Just from what I've seen on tv in Ireland.

  • Wow Merany1, it's obvious you didn't even watch the video because he talks about everything you mentioned.

  • Stanford University´s Global Climate & Energy Project(GCEP),is financed by General Electric, Toyota, Schlumberger and Exxonmobil. And Exxonmibil is the largest sponsor by far with 100 million dollars.

  • Maybe. But if you want to question funding and the science it gets, the climate alarmist get a lot more money from the public purse controled by politicians and their usual scare tactica the media perpetuates cause it sell more by scaring people. If you want to play the motives conspiracy game, Merany, the sword cuts both ways. And given the BILLIONS of dolars being spent on anything to do with climate change, well talk about Environmental Industrila Complex.

  • Stephen schneider the scientist.

  • I wonder why he does not mention Antartica here. Does it have something to do with the fact that there is more ice there now than has ever been observered with satelite technology, and the fact that Antartica is about 90% of all ice and snow in the cryosphere.

  • Stephen Schneider wrote in his first book in 1975 that we were coming to a new ice age as the world average temperature had dropped for about 30 years. And when challenged on this in a 1990 documentary he said that he was not one of the scientists that thought this until the interviewer shows him what he had wrote 15 years earlier.
