mess-o-wires, i am running a 4 HDDs, 3 optical drives deadicated sound card and front bay,4870x2 and phenom II x4 under water at 4ghz and my my case is untidy but yet looks about a thousnd time tidier than that system

Im actually going to sell this system with a clean 500gb hardrive and windows 7 installed. Ive ordered the Silverstone Fortress 2 which is an excellent case, mobo rotated 90 degress so the I/O panel faces the top, very tidy, super efficient and looks good. I built my existing system 3 years ago and i admit i was a noob, but you will soon see my new system will be interested to hear your comments... I'm not a fan of the continuous upgrades, your hardware is ok for daily use (I guess is a multithreaded P4 3 GHz or a Core 2 duo 3 GHz, you have SATA slots, PCI x, so you are ok for desktop use or Linux use). My advise is to change the CPU cooler with a nice and effective one, Thermalright / Noctua), and change your HDD to SATA 2. Also replace the GPU cooler with a better one (i.e a Zalman). Else, the air flow you try to produce doesn't help you. Remember that the big names such as Thermaltake

Not gona lie, the i7 980x and FOUR GTX480 is the WORST choice of hardware for a gaming computer. Sure if you have money coming out of your ass there is nothing wrong with buying all that. BUT a somewhat computer literate person will tell you that your hardware is complete overkill and unless you are running all of NASA with your one computer, you have wasted about $3000

yes, you would be suprised on what hidding the wires can do for over all air flow, I know that the black light makes them look cool. Just black tape the wires that are not neon and run a search for cable management if you want to see a really organized case. Great all and all Pc Wish i had one

on some armors its stock, and TT sells side panels as an accessory with the fan, if you got an armor with out the fan. and its a giant 250mm fan :D

It seems "colorfull" enough, but i'm thinkin your 1st purchase would be gettin rid of that stock CPU cooler. Big bright Zalman orb should do it nicely. DuOrb on the GTX wouldn't look bad either. Both not only add to the style of your case, but overclockability.
