  • pacquiao should not fight another black african american boxer...they are the most BORING fighters.

  • to BLACKTHEBERRY: you're dreaming of your Gayweather? bring back the hype to gayweather? heheheheheh. why? he's not in the lime light already? so you mean you want pacman to lost so as to bring back the light to your girl friend floyd? why? your lady floyd cant beat pacman that's why you're praying pacman will lost to mosley? what a nice tactics.

  • yeah that gayweather and mosely fight was all planned out... you know mosely could have taken gay out easily.. it was all about the money..

  • Your logic was off in that the Vernon Forrest fight was years prior to Mayweather. Pac had an easy warm up prior to Pac but his chin was definitely affected by the previous KO.

  • Mosley is old ,slower, and a bit punch drunk! years ago Mosley would have destroyed Pacquiao! For Pacquiao to get real credit he needs to prove he is not on Steroids!

  • Mosley's going to have to be able to really turn back the clock for this one

  • I hope Mosley knocks the smile off that silly Filipino...I am sick of the media hyping this Asian cat as an all time great...in this age of media you got guys with no real talent as celebs just because the media hype them up...greater than Ali my ass...Who has he fought? He ain't fought nobody...Anyways...Mosley is old...but I gotta go with my heart...I WANT Mosley to ice this fraud...I wanna see the pactards cry...we need to end the hype already and bring Floyd back..boxing needs him

  • @BlackTheBerry keep hoping...

  • @BlackTheBerry hahaha...nice post! but sadly he won! Pacquioa knocked him out!

  • @BlackTheBerry hahaha...nice post! but sadly he won! Pacquioa knocked him out!

  • I agree with most of your points made here, v.gd vid. I can see n understand why most ppl are against the fight made but i'm not one of them. SSM deserve his shot at Pac just like JMM, Bradley, Berto, not in any particular order at this juncture. I gave all of them equal respect in their ability, in their own capacity as legit to fight Pac at present. I'm not going to argue who should come first bcuz it's not going to be fair to the other.. Peace n Cheers!

  • @miktoh - That's pretty how much I see it too. There should'nt have to be any particular order these guys fight Pac just so long as they ultimately get a shot. Floyd fought Gatti to win one of his world titles and Gatti had already been KO'd several times. Not long after that, he fought Judah straight after Judah lost to Baldomir. Also, Mosley had lost to Cotto only 2 fights before he fought Floyd. I'm not making excuses for Pac but he is no worse than Floyd with regard to his recent choices.

  • Well done Jose...but I disagree. Mosley is 39 and way out of his prime. I bet mayweather and Pacquiao will be retired before they reach 39. This is just a money fight for Pacquiao. Pacquiao is simply cashing in on old mosley's name and Mosley needs the money after the divorce. Mosley has a punchers chance and thats it, because Pac speed and movement and pace will be too much for Mosley to handle at this age. After losing to may and mora there is not much credibility defeating mosley . Peace !!

  • @indorican1 - Good points man and I do agree with you for the most part. I did mention that Pac is'nt facing the Mosley of old. I'm looking forward to seeing who Pac will fight after Mosley though.

  • @indorican1 so you mean pacman is just after the money and floyd not. gayweather made a good decision in fighting mosley because mosley is a tough opponent for gayweather but a garbage for pacman? that's why gayweather has good fights than pacman? WTF.

  • i dont remember mosley ever having good head movement, he's always fought like he has a metal rod in his back

i think shane's reflexes are completely shot, the mayweather fight made that abundantly clear to me... & he didnt really need reflexes against a guy like margarito- when was the last time he actually beat a good "boxer"? years & years ago... shanes foot speed isnt there anymore either

i think the only chance he has is a punchers chance, otherwise it will be a 1 sided missmatch

  • @HatmanTV - Yeah, I was a little lacklustre in my analysis here, I should've said that even in the Margarito fight, Shane did'nt move his head, he just clinched a heck of a lot when he was'nt throwing and before Marg had a chance to throw!! But before The Floyd fight, Mosley was coming off the longest lay-off he'd ever had and at 38. I know he is a year older, but this will be his 3rd fight in 12 months - I certainly don't think his conditioning will be any worse than when he fought Floyd.

  • @JoseSilver

i dont know if his conditioning will be any worse, but i think mentally he's on a downer- he's 40, he aint beaten an elite fighter in years and years, & he's coming off a poor showing against mora & a 1 sided defeat 2 mayweather, i'll be amazed if he has much fight left in him

  • @HatmanTV - Yep, you are stating the reality of it from Shane's perspective and I agree. If he does'nt go for it early, I see him being less and less able to pull the trigger the further the fight goes. But I'm sure there are better fights for Pac after this. But I think you have to assume that if Mosley was dangerous against Mayweather - the great defensive master that he is - early and almost had him over, he will believe he has every chance against Manny with his defensive flaws.

  • @JoseSilver

yes u have to imagine mosley will have more opeings to shoot for with pacquiao, but he will also have alot more coming at him, at much greater speed from more unpredictable angles- sometimes in boxing offense is the best form of defense, &i expect mannys aggression to have shane on the defensive throughout lol

  • @MenTakeBubbleBaths if pac beat mosley so bad, floyd is a deadman walking

  • if pac beat mosley so bad, floyd is a deadman walking

  • Good video man. I see this as another entertaining fight. I mean besides the josh Clottey fight almost any fight Pacman is in is going to be fun to watch.

  • @ginogeno - Thanks. Yeah, I was'nt happy about it when it was anounced but I think we have to just enjoy it now. No doubt all the biggest critics of this match-up will still tune in in the hope that they will see Pac get KO'D though.

  • Nobody gives Floyd much credit for beating Mosley, we all knew what would happen. But what people hoped would happen didn't, so your comparison was kinda weak.

The point is Floyd showed Shane that he was pretty much done, so whats the point of Manny fighting Shane now and not before.

I think Freddy saw the Shane/Floyd and Shane/Mora as proof that now it's safe.

  • @Pullcountertv - As I said, I did'nt want Manny to fight Shane but it's going ahead now. There is still a very good chance you will get the fights you want to see with Pac after this fight.

  • @JoseSilver That's all well and good, listening to your vid you seem to discredit Floyd/Shane, but hype Manny/Shane.

2010 Floyd/Shane was a joke and 2011 Manny Shane is even a bigger joke, so tell it like it is. Don't let your seemingly biased feelings towards a fighter cloud that fact.

And yes it's going ahead but tell it like it is man, that's all I'm saying.

  • @Pullcountertv - I give credit to Floyd for the systematic way he dismantled Shane but I just don't agree with the people who felt it all but proved he would beat Pacquiao. And believe me, there were several people on here touting that logic. I've said I don't think this is a great fight, but it's happening and I'm looking for positives - It is a fight between two offensive fighters, the last thing to go on a big puncher is his power, etc. Let's wait and see who Pac fights after this...

  • @Pullcountertv - You have to rewind back a year to the aftermath of that fight. The general feeling from many Floyd fans was that he'd pretty much cemented his position as an unbeatable fighter with his performance against Shane. Just pointing that those same people would not hear of it in the slightest if you told them that Manny was more impressive against Hatton than Floyd was. It's the double standards aspect of it and how many Floyd fans are ignorant to the fact that they practice it.

  • @Pullcountertv I understand what you mean man, but don't polish a turd.

  • @Pullcountertv - I don't think I am polishing a turd. You're looking for positives from the Cotto vs Mayorga fight because you want to see how Cotto is developing. Is Ricardo Mayorga better than Shane Mosley? I'm going to watch that fight too because I also like Cotto, but Mayorga is not the best opponent they could have picked either. That said, he is a big guy and does'nt stop trying to take you out. Maybe we're both polishing turds?! Peace!

  • @MenTakeBubbleBaths - I keep changing my mind about which Mosley will show up! It will be his 3rd fight in 12 months and he knows it's surely his last chance on the elite, world stage. I think he genuinely believes he's going to win. But the crucial thing for me is to what extent can Manny take advantage of Shane's lack of head movement? Also, Shane can be momentarily non-commital and hesitant. If Pac is in tune, there are things he should be able to exploit consistently. We'll see I guess.
