  • how did you loose it in the first place?

  • that is very cool i think it looks great its seems like you can walk run and do everything normaly

  • Awesome--thanks for posting this! I am enjoying and learning from all your videos.

  • Doesn't your leg get all hot and sweaty wearing all those socks, liners and silicone sleeves?

  • @mdxgy yeah it gets kinda hot but i lost most feeling in the stump so i don't notice it too much, but it doesnt really get sweaty.

  • You make it look so simple and easy, Mike .. thanks

  • @mapleclose thanks. it is pretty easy, but its hard at the same time. it's more a mental thing than anything else..

  • @Crew9t Thanks, JohnWilliam, for replying ... yes, guess the physcological aspects (mental thing) takes a lot to accept and get used to .. certainly practically you have mastered the putting on and taking off ...

    How is your mobility?

Why "retired" so young? Not permanently I trust ..

Take care and I wish you all the very best as you adjust ...

  • @mapleclose i walk with no limp what so ever. in jeens, you don't even kno i have a fake leg. a lot of people are surprised the first time they see me in shorts cause they've knonw me for however long and never knew i was missing a leg. and yeah the retirement is just temporary. i'm planning to open a mechanic's shop eventually.

  • @Crew9t That is MOST impressive .. how long you been an amp then?

Car/motor mechanic is that? Wish you well

  • @Crew9t I want to open a shop someday as well. Perhaps someday we might be business partners and/or co-workers.

I'm currently working on rebuilding an '86 Honda Civic, which hasn't started in over a year now (belt snapped resulting in bent valves), and I need to replace the head on it,

  • @Crew9t i was just wondering how did you get your leg amputated

  • Nice tatts man. What are they?

  • @dv8mikehunt1 Thanks. I have a lot but the one's you can see in the video are 1) on my right forearm: a deck of cards in front of flames with the letters L-U-C-K-Y where numbers would be and dice underneath the cards that have numbers showing in an order as to tell the story of my accident- date, time, etc. 2) on my left forearm: a red and black cross. 3) on my right bicep: the world with "One Love" above it. 4) across my shoulders: "Loyal to the Game". 5) on my right hand: the 3 dot "dog paw".
