The ref had every right to stop it. Hasegawa got hit with probably a dozen punches without doing anything to protect himself at all. That's a definite TKO. But it was with less than a second left in the round, the ref could just as easily have let it slide. Hasegawa came to pretty quickly, and 60 seconds would have been plenty to recover. He definitely could have kept going. And the fight would have been AWESOME.
