  • buy a classical guitar to play classical music then it will sound nice, great talent bad noise.

  • Wow, good for you man for having the skills an patience to learn that peice at such a young age! That was an amazing demonstration of guitar playing.

I hope to see you again in the future with that guitar in your hands.

    Cheers from michigan!

  • age isnt shit, its how long you have played that matters

  • keep guitar alive kid, the soulless drum machines are taking over.

  • Alex I'm an instructor for the National Guitar Workshop and I want to tell you that I'm very impressed with your playing! You've accomplished an incredible amount for someone your age. Keep doing what you're doing because I believe you have a bright future as a guitarist. The fact that you recognize the worth in the great composers music (Bach, Paganini, Mozart, etc...) at your age is a breath of fresh air for me! God Bless!!!

  • @beasley777 Jeff thanks alot for the nice comment, much appreciated!!

  • I'm originally from Cincinnati, OH.....and by default I cannot like anything from Cleveland.....At the risk of being disowned....CLEVELAND ROCKS!!!!!!! Go on tour with Megadeth right now and get paid youngblood....seriously, that was the sickest thing i've ever seen.

  • amazing!

  • DEAR GOD! THE KID IS 13 AND PLAYING PAGANINI !!!!! DOESNT MATTER WHAT HE'S PLAYING IT ON! ALL YOU HATERS GOTTA CHILL!!! THIS KID IS BADASS!!!!!!!

  • @orca27rich Thanks :)

  • Try playing that on a classical guitar with your fingers. Try not to be something you're not. In other words, go sit down and shut up. Grow up and learn something before you deface valid musical forms with your garbage.

  • @greenguitarist1962 Lighten up greenguitarist, life is too short to be so crabby. This is America, Alex can play this on whatever instrument he likes, and he chooses to play it on electric guitar. In the grand scheme of life, why would someone go out of their way like you did, to put down a kid who's 13 trying his best? Sheesh...

  • @steveraz Where, oh where is a video of greentguitarist playing this better?!? Oh that's right....there isn't one! Now isn't THAT interesting?! Maybe that is because HIS playing would deface valid musical forms with HIS garbage?!!?

  • This is about 10 times harder on a classical guitar...

  • @GHIIIGNT Absolutely...

  • Any one can play notes to a song in order, but that doesn't mean you played the song. Sounded like shit, but with practice, you could be really good. Stop hiding behind the overdrive. If you played that clean, you'd know. Keep working on it.

  • very very good, try some versitality

  • А грязи-то,грязи!!!!

  • I seen this kid at namm

  • Great playing man, have you studied any Jason Becker, Scott Mishoe, or Chris Broderick.

  • @WarlokMetal not that much, will check em out. Thanks!

  • Try not pushing your way through the song and keep beat. You have some skill. Keep working on it.

  • Try less distortion or use the neck pickup. :)

  • You like a challenge! I could have never even attempted to play this at 13, nice work kid!

  • Very slippy but good for your age

  • losiento, pero no me gusta nada el video, esta todo tocado muuuuuuuuuuy sucio estudialo mas y vuelve a grabarlo y colgarlo cuanto lo hagas bien, para colgar esto mejor te lo guardas JA XD

  • I sincerely doubt if this is what the composer had in mind!

  • playing this with a PICK! now THAT is impressive. Amazing brother!

  • lol man'

  • Dean Vendetta?

  • Your picking is extremely sloppy. Great playing for a 13 year old though.

  • WE DON'T CARE ABOUT THE AGE OF THE PEOPLE OMG!

I am so tired of ppl writing their age on the vid title, personly I really don't care if you have 10 years or 40.

  • @masterpallongo

Do not use "we". Speak for yourself.

Btw, are you going to all videos where the age is mentioned just to say how tired of them you are? Very smart.

  • turn off your distortion pedal, and you will know what you are really playing.....

  • turn off your distortion pedal and you will know what you are really playing.....

  • turn off your dist pedal and you will know what you are really playing.....

  • turn off your dist pedal and you will know what you are really playing.....

  • way to go, dude! o/

  • I think it would sound a lot better with less distortion, or without it. I'm a huge fan of metal and all, but I think distortion should be used where applicable.

Other than that, fantastic job! Paganini is a genius! It's great to know that you enjoy his works!

  • turn up so you can't hear the pick

  • great playing self taught?

  • @guillotinedeath taught by dad, also had 4 or 5 other teachers over the years that have helped out alot..so no I guess...

  • this is excellent man, give my cover of caprice 1 by paganini a check on my page :) -oisin

  • Maybe could be there some errors, but I think this is simply amazing, especially from a 13 years old boy. Good job (=

  • you should listen to Dream Theater

  • nice work :D !!!!!

  • You are definitely expanding and progressing musically. Nice job! Ever try any Dream Theater?

  • @bent139 thanks alot, have not tried any Dream Theater yet, definitely on the list though!

  • real nice work

  • holy shit..dude, you better try out for america's got talent one day..

  • fakeeeeeeeeee

    a) Paying, great for your age!

    b) hair, get it cut?

  • @ZorchyCinema Ok i play guitar too and a great wise guitar player once told me that i should grow my hair long too for my image! He is soooooooooooooo right!

  • That's skill.. xD Nice job man. Get signed one day and show the world what REAL music is! =D

  • @DescentFromHeaven Thank you!

  • awesome dude you are talented as hell keep on going. Do you have the tabs? Would like to got those. If so, send me a message to my channel. Would really appreciate if you would give them to me.

  • @Brinkmann2Spaten tabs are on google, alex has a program called guitarpro and you go find tabs on google and upload it--guitarpro is a great learning tool

  • ur good. im 13 too and ur definitely faster than me.

  • This is amazing. Guitar GOD! Haha, keep it up kid, you have an awesome future ahead of you.

  • This is a fantastic piece to watch as far as dexterity goes. Excellent! I have to admit that I enjoy Alex' playing of cover bands like Journey etc best. The fantastic relaxed way he plays even the most rythmic and complex tunes in a way that produces such a rich sound is ultra enjoyable. Great to see that Joey Sampson on drums is on board as well. Nice work!

    Don

  • holy shit. plz tell me you play gigs regularly.

  • dude you awesome lil bro!

  • Excellent piece of work! Thank you very much for Sharing!

What a way of meeting people and get to see their talent. At first was reluctant being on youtube, but getting to do this has brought me into the houses of some very special people. You are one of them. Life; isn't it wonderful!

Keep up the good work. Hope You Are Having A Splendid Day!

    A New Friend

    Erick

  • this is extremely impressive!

Alex you keep gettin better and better and this is definately pro level playing

  • very very nice .... built for speed ....

but there;'s no soul, no passion, no ballsy tang ....

speed away; but reach down deep someday and turn those mph

into some bone chillin licks ....

  • @jackswhitemegtoo

Paganin's music was written to demonstrate technique, origionally on a violin of course but the origional intention was too be a shameless showcase for technical virtousity. Alex played this as it was written, and very well.

  • Cool

  • Lots of talent, but why not play an acoustic or classical guitar so we can hear what the piece sounds like?

  • @EarlLedden I agree, sounds much better on classical/ acoustic guitar. This one is not suited for el-.guitar.

But all in all, you rock the guitar :)!

  • I enjoyed that very much...Thanks for sharing guys.

  • The late Randy Rhoads would be proud!

  • That was great my friend.

    Josh

  • I suggest that you make a song cover of Whitechapel - This Is Exile :)
