Because the pedal is kind off 'Brian in a box'. You shouldn't really have to put the amp on the AC30 or 15 cause the pedals creating that Brian May sound for you. Maybe there interfering with each other?... I'm also trying to create the Brian may sound, I have the red special guitar and i've just ordered the pedal and the VOX VT30. Just came into my mind maybe you don't need to put it on the AC30 or 15 because of the pedal. Let me know.
Spot on! Here's the thing though. The VT30 doesn't have its own "sound" due to it being a modelling amp so you can use any of the in built amps as a clean setting. So in theory it is like running the pedal through a clean AC30.... or for that matter any other model you like the sound of.... Im sending you a PM ...
its all about the setup . The problem I have found is that ANY pedals connected in front of this amp will sound "lost" due to the fact that the amp has no effects loop. This means that the pedals go through the pre-amp when they shouldn't. I am looking into a simple mod to rectify this so the BM pedal will sound VERY nice ... as it does through a mixer ....
I,ve had the same problems, and to be honest I,ve not been over impressed by this pedal. I find I get a better sound by adjusting just the amp and guitar together. I,ve now sold my pedal.
I live in the United States and I have that exact same cheesy white plastic organizer. Has something gone HORRIBLY WRONG???!!
