I think as for the idle surge and dying i think its either the neutral safety switch on the tps (throttle position sensor) I have had this problem on so many eclipses and ford probes its not even cool. Try cleaning all sensor contacts, make sure no corrosion on sensors, also fuel injectors might need inspected. Welll... Thats all i got
its either your idle control valve or you have a electrical problem, i know mine will do that but that's just because i had taken the tube off the bov that runs back to the turbo.
It might be your throttle position sensor! Mine does the exact same thing, you have to rev it or it stalls miserably! I'm going to replace mine, and see what happens!
its probably ur blow off valve, u have it venting into the atmosphere dont u? recurculate it and u wont have this problem, and if that doesnt work try changing out ur IAC. its either one of these two that i have listed,
Sounds like something rubbing can not tell . Are there any marks on the timing belt? You need to get a logger to dial in the idle and cruise fuel trims or it will not be perfect. The wideband is only for full throttle tuning.
@tigerhorns and that squeel try tightning the alternator and the power steering module, if it continues spray some lub on the pullys and if it continues then the last thing would be the cover see if its loose or broken rubbing on ur belts but most likey its the alternator or module good luck hope this helps
i know this is a yr old but if someone sees this get dsm link makes adjusting your biss screw alot easier

I bought a AEM wideband monday fedex says it will be here tomorrow, and i got the SAFC in the trunk of my car.
tigerhorns 1 year ago
2g maf 550cc injectors is close but not perfect. You need to hook up that SAFC and tune with the narrowband O2 for idle and cruise.
