In 1983, Toni Childs provided backing vocals on Scottish band The Europeans' track "A.E.I.O.U". Band member Steve Hogarth later returned the favour by doing the same on Childs' debut album Union.[4]
nice track, nice for posting. however i'm looking for a much deeper new-wave song it goes about "a - alphabet / e - sensibly ... " and then the letters go along to the alphabet. The voice is vocoded like this in OMD - Genetic Engineering...
Thanks for posting this! First heard in 1983 on my local alternative radio station, have occasionally tried to find the artist and song title with no luck, but discovered today via Google: rare song by "Europeans", a band from the Netherlands. Even better to be able to listen to it again!
they were awsome!

@beyeriii thanks for the answer, but no ... Ebn-Ozn is cool, but there is NO vocoded voice in there. Still much too poppy ... thanks anyway ^^

Wrong vid, figment1988. The vid for "The Animal Song" was the one B&B poked fun of in one of their episodes.
