  • I lived in Dublin from 2002-2003...I can't believe I left (damn ex-girlfriends). To this day, when I say I'm homesick, it's not for where I grew up, it's for Dublin.

  • The performance in the end case was good touch which it can come and is called a Celt.

  • 終わり際の演奏が良い、これぞケルトという感じでした☆

  • Everyone admires other cultures, Chinese, Japanese, Italian etc, but only Ireland makes people want to BE from said culture.

  • I was in Ireland for a week ten years ago and I still miss the moist scent in the air and those gorgeous green hills. I dream of the day I will return.

  • i will oneday, move to ireland.. or wales.

  • the famine is over, go home

  • Cheers

  • you're beautiful! I love your hair :)

  • This video is the best. I watch it to get through the day at work and it puts the goofiest grin on my face, especially the end with the dancing. Thanks to the maker

  • I miss Connemara.

  • @dpattiris It's common to miss a place that you've never been to. I wish i was on the coast of Loch Lyon every time i hear Scotland the Brave. Every time i hear someone speak Gael i could swear i heard every word, not just the words, the TRUE meanings. So beautiful and so elegant, i can honestly say that the first time i heard this song i cried for 40 strait minutes. I wish that the world could just be "home", safe and comforting. Why have we ravaged ourselves with war?

  • @crazedscotsman553 Because too many people, by and large, are stupid. This is the first time I've listened to GS in a long time, and it's comforting to see they are consistent with their humor and their wonderfully spirited music. We need more of this in the world instead of spoiled pop divas and rockers who don't know why they're pissed off.

  • @Multi80schick Yeah... Damn strait. I love Gaelic Storm, always will. They just, have it all figured out don't they. I like a lot of music, but you know, i really enjoy music with real meaning, and of course a subject we can all relate to. They are amazing. And thank you for your input. I hope you have wonderful days to come my friend. Keep smiling!

  • @crazedscotsman553 Why, aren't you nice! Thank you, and I wish the same for you. By the way, happy holidays, since it is nearly Thanksgiving and Christmas! :-)

  • @Multi80schick Thank you! I hope you have a great holiday as well.

  • That's a wonderful video! It makes me miss all that time I spent in Ireland myself.

  • im home sick i was born in england but im not english

  • irish rover=drunken rover :D

  • I read somewhere that there are 70 million Irish people scattered all over the world

  • @IrishGavin1 90 million +

  • @squeekycaravan maybe the 70 million are just the ones they know about

  • The Irish are spread all over the world , but we're always drawn home.

  • LIke IT .. good job big ups from SAn BRUno CALI

  • This song is perfect!

  • i dont like wat i see.. cya im off to Ireland for the rest off my life.

  • i think i might do wat the girl did in this video! :)

  • pretty lass!

  • this guy is funny, let him rant, you chuckle, and have a beer man. he'll get his/l\

  • Me gusta mucho.

  • I really like the way this was shot for some reason. I stumbled on it completely by chance and appreciated it so much. Hearts go out from a DJ in Seattle WA:]

  • cute girl, beautiful country. :) love the song made the irish blood in me boil, and swell with pride on pattie's day. good vid ty

  • beautiful ♥Happy Patrick's Day♥

  • @sandyfire11 St. Patrick's Day ... just sayin'

  • beautiful... :)

  • THE REAL celts ARE HELLENES

  • Is it possible to be homesick for someplace you've never been?

  • @Shosha1313 id say yes.

  • @Shosha1313 YES.

  • @Shosha1313 No. It isn't. What you are is envious.

  • @Shosha1313 Yeah man, they call the syndrome second generation american. Time for a pilgrimage back home then, eh?

  • @TheAmericanCossack hell ya all irish or irish americans should converg on the homeland and thorw a huge party

  • @Shosha1313 yes it is at least ur proud of your heritage

  • @Shosha1313 yes its possible! I feel the same!

  • @Shosha1313 Yes.

  • @Shosha1313 Not at all. It gets worse once you've been. I've been twice and when I get back to the US, my heart aches for Ireland all over again . =(

  • @Shosha1313 i am, when ever people ask me what country would i live in if i can't live where i do, i say ireland. the culture is amazing, i love farm land and farm animals, and they mainly speak english (with their really hot accent!!!)

  • Is iad na Gaeilge a labhraíonn Béarla traitors. Tá siad ag cailleadh le haghaidh an náisiúin.

  • @qqq1985 I really enjoyed watching solariis888 fall apart under the barrage of your translator Irish.

I did my own translation of what you said, and it came out like this. "Latvian refugee berates the native Irish for not being English hating fascists."

Are you by any chance one of Ryanair's hand luggage checking fascists?

  • Ba chóir do mhuintir na hÉireann múscail. Ba chóir dóibh a fhios ag an gcaoi a bhfuil a dteanga tábhachtach. Is teanga mar bhunchloch aon náisiún.

  • @qqq1985 I do not speak fluent Irish, only bits and pieces from school. I wish I was fluent in Irish, just as I wish I was fluent in French or German or Japanese. However being an English speaker does not make me any less Irish than a native speaker from the Gaeltacht. That's just an accident of birth.

But one thing is for sure, I would rather speak out against fascists in English, than talk fascist bullshit in fluent Irish. Fascism is the cornerstone of hell on earth.

  • @qqq1985 labhairt le muintir na hÉireann i nGaeilge. Má tá tú ag caint i mBéarla, Sínis, srl Rúise ansin nach bhfuil tú Éireannach. labhairt le muintir na hÉireann i nGaeilge. Má tá tú ag caint i mBéarla, Sínis, srl Rúise ansin nach bhfuil tú Éireannach. Cén fáth a bhfuil tú ag labhairt le mo i mBéarla? Tá tú caillte do mhuintir na hÉireann.

  • @qqq1985 Are we, the Irish, supposed to be impressed by a Latvian refugees use of the translator website? You copied and pasted the first two sentences twice you inept shit-stirrer.

Vai nav izlikties par īru, un veikt savu fašismu atpakaļ uz Latvija. If you want some more advice about how you should fuck off back to Latvia then reply to me and stop hiding by talking bullshit to yourself. By the way, where did you steal the family photo from?

  • I have to tell you, I have always loved this song, but this video is FRIGGIN AWESOME! I love all of it. Its synchrnosity and flow just fits the song so well, and the song fitting the Irish character, means this is incredibly well done!

  • I always wanted to go to Ireland, but I haven't had the chance yet.

  • ya forgot Newfoundland! its saturated in Celts!

  • @acerb45666555

    Never knew that! cool!

  • Whenever i think of Ireland, i think of my family and Gweedore. It is the most beautiful place in the world and where life is still simple.

  • my body may be in america, but my heart is forever in ireland :)

  • Southside irish here!!!

  • The Irish should wake up and get their language back. Those who name themselves Irish, but don't know Gaelic are English cunts not the Irish.

  • how do u say 7 billion bail out in gaelic? english cunts? nah

  • @TheSaintsman08 Apologies that this Latvian refugee, pretending to be Irish, makes such moronic statements in Irelands name. I'm sure if Ireland is ready for a fascist dictatorship we are perfectly well able to provide our own.

  • @qqq1985 Dude irish people are irish whether they speak gaelic or not they werent forced to learn english it was just easier for them

  • @holmsely No, you are not Irish anymore. You are English now.

  • @qqq1985 All I have to say to you, you fuckin cunt is... Eire go bra ughhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @solariis888 Tá tú ar leathcheann. Níl tú Gaeilge. Tá tú ar cac Béarla.

  • @qqq1985 THATS GIBERISH FOOL>>>> Ye sei Tuatha De Dannan et loriem en Tara duit feye Lia Fail.

  • @solariis888 Is é an t-aistriúchán na Tuatha Dé Danann mar "do phobail na bandia Danu" gá go míchruinn. ciallaíonn Sean tuath na hÉireann (Tuatha iolra) "duine, fine, náisiún". Dé go bhfuil an tuiseal ginideach den Muire, "Dia, bandia, osnádúrtha na huaire, rud adhartha". Tá siad go minic ach mar an Tuatha Dé. Frása seo a úsáid freisin chun tagairt do na Giúdaigh i dtéacsanna nGaeilge luath-Chríostaí.

  • @solariis888 Is é an Lia Fáil cloch ag an Mound Insealbhú ar Chnoc na Teamhrach i gContae na Mí in Éirinn. Bhí sé mar an chloch chorónú don Ard-Ríthe na hÉireann. Níl a fhios agat nGaeilge agus i scríobh tú cac.

  • @solariis888 Freagra chugam as Gaeilge má tá tú Éireannach.

  • @solariis888 Hahahahaha Tell me yankie o'toole, what do YOU think it means. Ye sei, I think you're just making it up yourself. And I'm afraid it dosen't count as one of your three languages, unless you mean that you speak horseshit. I'm not sure horseshit is an official language, though it is widely spoken in many areas: politrics, sport, religion. Keep taking the medication.

  • @poxrider Go kill your self britt, before I get to you. I'm going to end you, your family and everyone around you. Eire Abu!!!!!!!! I'm coming for you... lol

  • @solariis888 Keep...taking....the.....medication.

  • @poxrider If my medication you mean putting bloody britts in their place... I will, don't worry about that fool.

  • @solariis888 You couldn't put your own self in your place you half-wit.

  • @poxrider I'll put you in the grave fool... keep it up.

  • @solariis888 You just don't know how close to the truth that statement is. I laughted so hard when I watched you fall apart in your fight over who was 'more Irish', you or the Latvian refugee fascist. And you lost!! I swear I had to go out and go for a run with the horses hahahaha. You're killing me you solarseiis.

  • @poxrider lol... the truth.... You wouldn't know the Truth if I cut your head off with it fool. Fascism is used wrong by your ignorant ass, as expected... any other crap is wasted on me.

  • @solariis888

Huhuhuh...you're drooling.....Your clasp got cramp and lost it's bite before the onset of fool. English wasted as flat head good for ashtray, no surprise....using mindy failure will result in bumming yourself.

  • @poxrider lol... damned britts don't even make sense.

  • @poxrider Go kill you whore mother and eat a bullet, you damned britt.

  • @solariis888 Lol for some reason reading that comment while listening to this extremely upbeat music made me uncontrollably laugh.

  • @poxrider die fool.

  • @solariis888 i fooled

  • @qqq1985 Shut the hell up whore... be damned like the English.

  • @holmsely that is the most ignorant shit I've heard in quite a whyle. Eich ni brah fool.

  • @qqq1985 You don't know gael and you sure aren't Irish bitch... go to hell.

  • gaelic storm arent Irish.

  • Éirnn go brách

  • You're a small enough island that you have a realistic chance of evicting the foreigners...if you've the stomach for such an undertaking, that is.

    Send the Third Worlders packing!

  • Is breá liom mo thír. Éire go léir ar an mbealach!

Tá sé brónach a fheiceáil i staid den sórt sin, cé.

  • mtdewramen,DAIRISHDAVID seamuspowers, danescuruddy : yous are all 100% right its so sad to see us ireland go down the drain weve ejets running and ruining our country, i mean they dont care aslong as they get paid!! its so sad to think that if by the time i have grandkids theyl no nothing of the sort of ireland we knew :(!! im only 20 but my poor town has been run our by forgieners!! im not racisit but insted of joining our culture there taking over it and destroying ours!! :(!!

  • It's the new plantation.

And it's not wrong to oppose the destruction of your nation, your people, your language and your culture, everything that makes you a unique and distinct people. How can you have diversity by destroying unique cultures? Everywhere will just end up the same then.

Help the immigrants at home. Give aid, help them develop their own countries. Importing them as cheap labour is exploitation, not charity. It ruins host and donor countries.

  • Alright i got an Irish name, but im English.

Do i still get a kiss?

  • @kiedog250 NO haha ,,,ah go on then xxxxx

  • I am mostly Irish, with a bit of Russian and English. I love this song, and this video. (hence the listening to this for probably the several hundreth time this week...) I want to visit Ireland some day

  • ireland certainly is not like it was,and for anybody thats not irish born and bred to disagree with kevin600rr or to give his comment a thumb down,is quite rightly a hypocrite.ireland has been ruined by the sham of a government that run it,its a crying shame,we had a beautiful country which they have ruined.its very sad.ireland is not like it was,and never will be.

  • Ireland may no longer be what it was. But its people are still proud of it

  • Comment removed

  • I have always loved Ireland but after reading about the magdalen laundries and the way women were treated as far as to 1996 I feel a bit less in love with the country. Kevin600rr I know what u mean by that Ireland isn´t Irish any more. I noticed the difference in three years during my trips over from Sweden to Dublin.

  • why are people so infactuated with ireland?i was born here, lived here all my life,i'd do anything to be able to move to usa or oz,this place sucks, everythings over priced, its cold,it rains 10 months of the year.half the population are alcos, have u guessed yet?thats right,im not very fond of my home country, its a kip.i hate it.

  • pessimist =P
