  • There are nearly 31,000 listening now.

  • Perfection!! Thank you Pres!!

  • Simply beautiful ... Song melted into the spirit of the paintings..

  • saw him live

  • True music and art (Don McLean and Van Gogh) is universal as the ideals as true models. To prove this here's a fact: Tupac Shakur had this playing by his hospital bedside after he was shot and before he eventually died.

  • @GFMx1 That is an interesting fact, I always knew Tupac Shakur was a rapper with a difference. His social commentary was brilliant and the fact this hearfelt song was playing when he passed away is somehow fitting.

Thankyou for sharing this interesting fact.

  • Van Gogh's life and paintings gave us a brutal but honest portrayal of just what mental illness is really like. This is why his art has brought so much meaning to so many people...including me! :)

  • I love Van Gogh. His art work is so emotional and sincere. Most of his art works are done last 10 years of his life.

    Thanks for sharing. Beautiful choices.

  • thank you

  • Don McLean's famous song Starry Night, coupled with the gorgeous work of Vincent Van Gogh, and you produced a work of art that makes me cry.

Thank you for sharing it with all of us.

  • THEY DO NOT KNOW HOW....

  • Vincent Willem van Gogh (30 March 1853 29 July 1890) ... that makes him 37...and end July...

  • gawd, what masterpieces! I had to see it again. The Irises is an extremely complex painting. So rare for an artist to bat so high in creating masterworks.

  • Two great artist. This is one of my favorite songs of all time. The paintings are beautiful the colors are mesmerizing. Van Gogh's sunflowers are his most famed work, but there is more color and depth in his landscapes.

  • thank so much for watching...

  • Amazing, the music and the pictures from Van Gogh! Wonderful!

  • Agreed on the music. It just doesn't measure up to the art in any way, shape or form. But there arent many Vincent tribute songs to pick from...

  • Vincent was a truly great artist. Why does this have only 6,834 Views?... "they're not listening still"....

  • Don McClean music depresses me...

  • yeah...some people doesnt just know what is real music

  • God what a classic this is and what a great video.Love it so much.

  • I aspire to be as good as Vincent, but I don't know how to get established as an artist. I either need an agent or a publicist.

  • A brilliant video of 2 great artists, Van Gogh & Don Mclean. I heard Don sing this song live in Newcastle 22 years ago when I was a struggling art student...Thankyou for doing this. Makes me want to paint & sing. Wonderful
