only way this would have been good is if all the states legalized it at once. If I were in a governing seat over any state and my neighboring state was legalizing, I would be concerned about excessive importation of it. its not the fact that people smoke that would make me care, its the circus it would cause at the borders and the over flowing jails along the borders because some dick cops wanted to be some sort of dubious heroes.. as for personal views, I was in support of prop 19..

Its 25 sq ft, does not have to be a 5x5 it can be 1x25 which can be 25 plants and if you can get 2.5 lbs that means you can have from 25 to 60 lbs of pot. The area is the ground and not the top area so you can have more then 1 plant in a 5x5 area.

Dennis, I am sympathetic with you. You must realize that Prop 19 will come to pass. You must also realize that the California Supreme Court has struck down limits entirely on what patients may possess. There is no way that because Prop 19 passes, patients protected by Prop 215 and SB 420 will suddenly be forced to only grow 25 square feet of plant matter or only possess an ounce. It will also not affect their ability to smoke in public. VOTE YES ON 19

Prop 19 is legalization: it says “it shall be LAWFUL to possess and cultivate marijuana for personal consumption” and you are telling me to vote against that, so you’re against legalization.
