I think "netbooks" are basically designed for internet surfing, video chatting and some basic applications like microsoft office and stuff like that.

This Netbook sucks! I have one and it is sloooooooooooooow, I mean veeeery slow, the performance is prehistoric, A 10 yrs old pc would not do worse, and no I was not trying to run Crysis on it, just basic net surfing and office works. A single core computer should not be an option nowadays, so avoid it at any cause. an android smart phone would do way better job than this piece of junk.

@Alberto24839 yo recomendaria que utilizaras un lector de CD externo para reinstalar, en cuanto a particiones, la verdad lo veo dificil ya que normalmente tu le haces las particiones al disco duro. Yo recomiendo utilices un lector de CD/DVD externo. Esoero haber sido de ayuda.

UPDATE - while some believe that you cannot change the background of the notebook with W7 Starter, and must upgrade the OS - you can actually download a software that will allow you to do so - as I have done successfully (with minimal computer skills) - sorry to hijack the comments- as you were.

Hi, I just bought one of these for £180, to basically surf the net downstairs and be more mobile, instead of having a 15" + heavy laptop downstairs.

@JonFifa09 Hello, i have the same netbook and the three cell is pretty good. I shut off all the power saving settings and i still get about two and a half hours out of the three cell. I guess its all on preference if you want the 3 or 6. Hope i helped. Message me if you have any other questions.

I want to buy a netbook, but im worried that the screen is to small. Now im sitting with my Lenovo thinkpad T60, with 14,1 inch screen. But it weight about 2,2 kilos and the netbook is very nice with its only 1,1 kilos!

Right click in a empty location on the main desktop screen, choose Propertiies, choose Desktop tab. You can choose another background from those provided or you can browse and choose most any picture or graphics type file
