  • the man won't show his birth certificate... why? somethings up.. hes got you all wraped around his bumpy pecker and could sell you dog shit and you would believe it's chocolate. sad.. lawyers lie that's just what they do. you honestly think his plans will work? not.. what will hapen after he taxes the rich high?? you will lose your jobs and pay more for products/services to make up their loss... make sense? that's the american way and always will be. so expect to pay more with no job.if you live

  • i was expecting a song :(

  • The biggest mistake anyone can ever do is interfere in a battle with more war. It just brings more trouble. Don't make excuses that other people bring you into it because in the end it never came out to anything. What are these trillions in the hole? Maybe they are war machines that we had no business building or maybe they were positions we had no business posting. It was all nonsense that was not our business. Now it is everyone's business. Don't you always hate the bully?

  • It's so convenient rolling into Italy after blowing up all the Roman artifacts left and after the people kill Mussolini. It's oh so convenient to show up after the horror with flags and intimidation to make the people cheer you on in a similar sense as they did Hitler. What is the difference again? A gun for a gun and an eye for an eye and a child for a child except everyone else seems to have more dead children than we do. Just remember what goes around comes around. Where is your humanity?

  • WHY DON"T YOU ASK EVERYONE WHY THEY HATE US? So go on you fucking imbeciles with your fake ass patriotism and your sense of pride which is about the same as a pig who can't stop gorging on it's own guts. You want to fuck everything up then go fuck yourself! Go fuck yourself.

  • Wow, you actually told me to get over myself? What a joke. You are having a conversation with yourself! lmao

  • yea ask the Muslim who do u think he will pic

  • I am not worried about the economy with Obama. I think it is better off with him. The thing I worry about the most is that he does not seem to realize that I don't give a fuck what he thinks is right. I only care for WHAT IS RIGHT. So being the president is not an extension of ones personality or ego. It is a job and a really important one. So whatever they THINK is right is not neccessarily what is right. Full of shit politicians.

  • He is going to be terrible for the economy. If you want to compare his economic policies to someone in recent history look no further than Jimmy Carter. Obama's economic policies are just an extension of Carter economics which have been proven by history not to work. Increasing taxes across the board by allowing the Bush tax cuts to expire as well as raising taxes on capital gains, dividends, etc. will only slow down trading and sales which will only extend the recession. Just look at history.

  • He won't effect much. We will pay less if he does what he says he will do but I seriously doubt either one of them will do what they say now. It's a constant change up until one finally gets it. Either way the country is in so much debt we can't even begin to conceive so whatever. Out of both of them I find McCain to be robotic and insensitive so honestly would prefer if he was not the president or anything much at this point.

  • He says he will cut taxes on certain people but he is talking about cutting taxes AFTER the current Bush tax cuts expire, so in reality it is a tax raise. I agree with you that both of them can't possibly do what they are claiming they will do because it would totally bankrupt this nation.

The scary thing to me about Obama is that he pretty much wants to get rid of our military, that is where he always talks about getting extra money from. In this day and age we need a strong military.

  • We have the weakest military in the world in reality. Any country that has to plant a foot in every nation and constantly bully is in a lot of trouble. So these paranoid "patriots" can move a lot of shit but it only puts us more in the hole. If he really is willing to come to an understanding with everyone else then that is the only way we are going to get out of the shit we are already in. Our military has never done us or anyone else any favors so now is the time to get real or get lost.

  • Our military has done pleanty of favors for other nations and people throughout history. To claim otherwise is to be looking at history through revisionist's glasses.

  • If you consider a favor to be making enemies and killing civilians then you need revision. Do I have to name a few? When the Holocaust occurred where were they? Oh that's right they were watching. Why don't you ask the Vietnamese how the rebuilding is going along....why don't you ask Japan how the radiation is? Why don't you ask Russia why they want nothing to do with us? Why don't you ask the U.K. how they feel about our friendly fire accidents? Why don't you get over yourself first.

  • Nothing is even and if it was then taxes would be even. Minimum wage is the like the same as it was ten years ago. Nothing economically has changed except for the fact that corporations now want more money. The government always had those big chunks of the banks. People just need to see now because where the hell do these big corporations borrow money from? They borrow it from the feds. It's all fucked up.

  • He would ruin our economy by regulations and socialist policies which would greatly handicap American business and commerce. All but the executive class would experience a great depression. Socialism is unAmerican.

Both of the major parties are going that way. It moves us furhter away from what made America prosperous. Our only real choice is libertarian Bob Barr. Don't waste your vote on what seems to be the lesser of two evils. It's still evil!

  • Socialism was caused by America and we already have a form of Socialism in this country. We have a form of all governments as one in this country. It's not really a democracy. If it was we would all individually be able to vote for every politican but we do not. Sometimes we do not even have a clue how we get these assholes who fuck up everything other than the president which I am starting to believe is a puppet position sort of like a body to hide behind for the assholes.

  • sanity.. thank you

  • good thing im not a democrat

  • no, ur a jackass republican, so there's no thinking on your part. just vote for mccain you cock.

  • was that directed at me? uh, well, ill answer it anyways.

the inuit were never promised at state. they wanted their own territory, which they got. look up NUNAVUT. yikes, where have you been.

as for the quebec vote in 1995 (you were close enough, i guess), it was 49.5 to 50.5. what's your point? that was 13 years ago, and the separatist parties have been getting killed. they are the third party in quebec, and support for the BQ is at all time lows.

but i have no idea what point youre making

  • and that was before an official recession set in. it won't be as close in november.

  • i agree the population of iran is largely pro-american. unfortunately, the ayatollahs have most of the real power, and democracy in iran has become a farce. ahmadinejad has little real power. and the liberals boycotted the last election.

but people in iran are still sore over the shah, and will want a bomb as long as israel have them.

it comes down to how is better placed to resolve palestine, where iran has its proxies fighting for it. i think obama is better placed than road map mccain.

  • the problem with iran having the bomb is that unlike israel or say russia, the people in iran who have their fingers on the button don't care about mutually assured destruction, as long as israel is destroyed. its a game of nuclear chicken and iran doesn't care if it crashed, as long as israel crashes. hardly comforting

this could be an argument for mccain against obama, that there is just no point in diplomacy with irrational rogue states

but you aren't smart enough to make that argument.

  • fox news isn't news. you are so deprived of real news in the united states that you have been forced to go to youtube to watch the real news network (which is canadian, btw)

the majority of americans favor lifting the embargo on cuba. again, you are misinformed. surprise. you probably still believe there are wmd in iraq.

and if you think anyone other than republicans will be slaughtered in the next congressional election, you really are an idiot.

  • before bush, no nuclear weapons program in north korea. after bush, nuclear weapons (even if they dont fire very well, yet)

before bush and iraq, not al qaeda outside of afghanistan. after bush and iraq, al qaeda everywhere.

republicans make the world and america less safe.

John McSame08: more war, less jobs

  • before bush, iran had no nuclear program. after bush, they have a nuclear program, with enrichment technology. at this point, if iran wanted to put a bomb together, they could.

"which is it" ... uh, ive never said otherwise.

obama said in one of the earlier dem. debates that he would lift the embargo. gore won florida after sending that kid back to cuba. most cubans vote republican anyways, jews vice versa

google obama and cuba. there is plenty out there to show how poorly you are informed.

  • Thats funny...Blacks achieving positions of power is only socially relevant if they are socialists.

  • Obama = puppet with the SAME exact agenda as any of the other CFR/AIPAC lapdogs. Basically using Americans as proxy warriors and economic slaves for the less than %1 inbred megalomaniacs. NWO "global" tax = "global" tyranny.

  • ANOTHER BOMBSHELL!!

Eric Holder on the running-mate search team for Obama helped fugitive financier Marc Rich get a pardon from President Clinton..

obama's chickens are coming home with

    no feathers..

  • Um the real Obama has stood up.Family relative to mr bush and 90% of the ruling elite.CFR member Builder burg team leader and Trilateral Com. Chair member.Just because you baught his crap about change doesn't mean it's true.He is no different then the others.Vote Ron Paul or write him in.

  • You're crazy wreddon.

  • Obama's speech at AIPAC was awful, he sounded just like another warmonger. And what was he doing there at AIPAC in the first place? I thought he wanted to end the special interests influence...

I still think he's the better of the candidates but if liberals really want America to change it's foreign policies then they shouldn't let Obama get away with his shifting to the right and better start challenging him.

  • yes will real obama please stand up and keep it real.

  • Socialist...Schmocialist. Stop using generalities. The very act of having government is a socialist act...it all boils down to how big of a roll government has in the various aspects of our lives. Having Public schools is a socialist act. For goodness sakes having a military is one as well. The US Military represents one of the greatest socialist institutions...and before you disagree please think about it and figure it out and don't make me try to explain in in 260 characters or less. :P

  • why is it that the two cities which were attacked on 9/11 have voted democratic in every election since then? seems the two most vulnerable cities feel safer with democrats. hmm.

ps. long live "the league of democracies"!!! bring back the cold war!!! bomb bomb bomb, bomb bomb iran!!! iraq for 100 more years!!! LOL

john mcsame 08: more war, less jobs

  • "Tough diplomacy" is just a nice way of saying... "We will talk to you and then if you don't do what we want, then we will bomb you."

That's the only difference between Obama and McCain on foreign policy.

  • I voted for Dr Paul because I don't listen to mainstream media lies!! All of Dr Paul's detractors will see he was 100% right!

     Just wait!

  • now who's the gullible one, moron

  • "McCain has also changed his position to look at Russia and China as multilateral partners because they have direct negotiations with Iran"

you are etiher an idiot or a liar. you pick. unless the league of democracies will now include russia, a country mccain wants to kick out of the G8, and china.

    moron

  • seeing as how i just saw samantha power speak at toronto last week in a debate with niall ferguson, who is advising mccain, where they debated their candidates respective foreign policy (yes, power is back with obama) i can say that obama is open to diplomacy with america's "enemies" while mccain would rather "bomb bomb bomb, bomb bomb iran"

    obama: diplomacy

    mccain: war

ps, when were those planes flown into LIBERAL new york, a city that votes democratic? what, like 8 years ago?

    bitch

  • nubbs, "Change" Right? You guillable kid!!

  • change with cuba, yes. he would lift the embargo. that's a big change.

he would meet with democratically elected venezuela president, which is a big change as well.

and he would not further isolate russia, which is different from mccain.

and he would not antagonize iran or north korea, who had no nuclear weapons before george w bush, but now have them. so i guess bush's "axis of evil" policy made america less safe.

golda meir: if you don't talk to your enemies, who the hell do you talk to?

  • Obama is better than McCain because he defies the norm in countless ways. Cynics try to point out things he don't defy, but still there are enough to end the current norm of presidency in USA. With Love From Finland

  • Wow, this is really sad that Obama has changed his foreign policy views so much that the only difference between him and McCain is skin color.

  • obama has said he would (not will - imp. difference) meet with iran, syria, venezuela. he is open to diplomacy.

mccain wants a new cold war with russia and china.

one wants peace, one wants war. i think that is a big difference

  • Obama has pledged to do anything for AIPAC/Israel; he includes "all options" (code for nuclear first strike) on the table when dealing with Iran; he advocates willingness to invade Pakistan without Pakistani government approval; he refuses to pledge to remove all troops from Iraq by Jan 2013; and he is only talking about removing a few "combat" troops, whilst leaving tens of thousands of redefined troops, and even more mercenaries, in Iraq

So where, exactly, is the "change" in foreign policy?

  • I hope Obama puts his money where his mouth is and we see some true diplomacy. The country needs it. He hasn't talked to anybody yet, however, he has been ratcheting up his rhetoric against Iran and Pakistan. It's a fine balancing act, and if he keeps ratcheting it up he could alienate a lot of his core.

  • doesnt matter who BECOMES PRESIDENT, we are FUCKED!! WAKE UP PEOPLE!!

    RESIST THE NWO

    THAT SHIT IS ALL SCRIPTED!

  • LoL. I like the dramatization.

  • Improve the quality of your journalism! Shit! Your talking points isn't any different from the main stream one.

  • It doesn't always have to be. Not everything from the mainstream is insignificant. You must be new to this channel, though. Their style is much different than the mainstream, usually.

  • Which mainstream channels are pointing out that McCain and Obama are the same on foreign policy? Wouldn't that mean that the "Change" Obama is presenting is ficticious? That would be all over the news, wouldn't it? So which channels is it on, if they are the same talking points?

  • Bush ran on a "humble" foreign policy before his first term. Look it up. Candidates can have as much rhetoric as they have breath for, but it's all about their voting record. Also, why would anybody trust the mainstream media if they're proven to run government sponsored propaganda. They are biased and bought. The internet is the only democracy.

  • I gave you a thumbs up for that comment. Just one disagreement. The internet is close to straight anarchy, which is great btw.

  • in US politics, if you don't seize the middle, you won't win. What's interesting here is that both McGain and Obama have swung to the right

  • ...meaning that the definition of 'middle' has swung to the right.

  • both are to the left of GWB. Plus McCain has never denied that he approached the Democrats twice about switching parties which would be a better fit. He's often called a Maverick Republican due to his social policies

  • "Maverick" is a talking point. Maybe he's "to the left" of GWB, but so is nearly everyone. Both Obama and McCain have been courting the right lately.

  • Has Obama really fallen in disgrace with liberals or is The Real News highly exaggerating the general view? Saying that there is no considerable difference between McCain and Obama (0:52-0:55) shows lack of understanding and truthfulness. I am not an Obama supporter, but recognize that the two of them stand on different sides in many issues. They may not be the real right or real left, but they are still apart in the ideas, something like center right (McCain) and center (Obama).
