I do wonder how they could have baptized in "Jesus" name since the letter did not exist in any language prior to the 14th century and in fact still does not in Hebrew or Aramaic. Doesn't in Greek either for that matter. im sorry you had that kind of exp at a Apostolic ups Church? but ive never heard of anything like that just because theres 1 bad apple doesnt mean the whole tree is bad. i use to go to a trinity church and they told me that i was baptized wrong even dough i told em i believed in 3 persons which later i found out to be false. but like i said theres many churches many false ones in the trinity and upc this is why we judge the church by its fruit.

But I am not saved by my good deeds. I am saved by the cross, by the blood. You put your trust in what you do to be saved, I put my trust in what He has done. By the way I was baptized in the name of Jesus, yet I don't consider others lost who were baptized as in Mathew28:19. We are saved by grace thru faith. The gospel has never been lost. Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins. He was resurrected. This is the gospel message. Not a formula. Jesus Christ is the savior. Not a formula. He is the truth. i think you want this answere if you was baptized in 3 names never knowing about acts 2:38 and what Father Son HolyGhost means and was raised in a trinity church and rejecting the oness of God and being baptized in Jesus Name the bible clearly states that you are lost. as for what God will do when they die thats up to God but as the bible states without baptizm and the saving Name that no man will be saved without.theres only 1 faith 1 Lord and 1 baptism should we argue this point?
For example, a person hears the preaching of the cross. Jesus died on the cross as a sacrifice to save us from our sins. This person confesses they are a sinner, and ask God for mercy. They put their faith in Jesus Christ and ask Him to save them. They then live and die never being baptized in Jesus name ( as all they were taught was Mathew 28:19) or spoke with tongues. the 3 names are not wrong. its how they translated as 3 persons. rather then God the Father has come down infleshed in Christ the Son and the HolySpirit which is God in his spiritual nature. 3 manifestation of God. not 3 in the GodHead. the history of baptizing in 3 names came later by the roman empire constatine forming a trinity baptizm that never took place in the org context of the bible. I baptize with the 3 names because Jesus said it and they are not strange words 1Peter 1:2 and he is greater than the Apostles. look at da rest of this verse. Paul also said, “Unless indeed he interprets, that the church may receive edification.” In other words, if the tongues are interpreted, it is just as great as prophecy. This passage can hardly be considered a denunciation of speaking in tongues. Remember, Paul’s main point is that, even though speaking in tongues is a blessing to the one who is speaking,, it is not a blessing to the church at large unless there is interpretation in an understandable tongue.

The point is, both speaking in tongues and speaking in an understandable language have a purpose. The fact that Paul underscored the priority of one over the other under certain circumstances in no way suggests that the other is unimportant or should be condemned. Paul was simply attempting to bring a group of immature believers who were untaught in the operation of spiritual gifts into proper spiritual balance.

I do wonder how they could have baptized in "Jesus" name since the letter did not exist in any language prior to the 14th century and in fact still does not in Hebrew or Aramaic. Doesn't in Greek either for that matter. im sorry you had that kind of exp at a Apostolic ups Church? but ive never heard of anything like that just because theres 1 bad apple doesnt mean the whole tree is bad. i use to go to a trinity church and they told me that i was baptized wrong even dough i told em i believed in 3 persons which later i found out to be false. but like i said theres many churches many false ones in the trinity and upc this is why we judge the church by its fruit.

but i do agree on this that a woman that worships God should dress modesly and if somthing causes you to sin blot it out of your life.the pastor didnt need to come and tell me what i should do and not and he didnt. he let the HolyGhost do it.i was not forced to speak in tongues it just happend.there is no dress code in my church but there is a Spirit of God tat gives us a conscience on what to do say and act.

But I am not saved by my good deeds. I am saved by the cross, by the blood. You put your trust in what you do to be saved, I put my trust in what He has done. By the way I was baptized in the name of Jesus, yet I don't consider others lost who were baptized as in Mathew28:19. We are saved by grace thru faith. Good works will always be in the life of the true believer, but they don't save him. God bless. I enjoy discussing these things.

The gospel has never been lost. Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins. He was resurrected. This is the gospel message. Not a formula. Jesus Christ is the savior. Not a formula. He is the truth. For example, a person hears the preaching of the cross. Jesus died on the cross as a sacrifice to save us from our sins. This person confesses they are a sinner, and ask God for mercy. They put their faith in Jesus Christ and ask Him to save them. They then live and die never being baptized in Jesus name ( as all they were taught was Mathew 28:19) or spoke with tongues. Are they lost?

the 3 names are not wrong. its how they translated as 3 persons. rather then God the Father has come down infleshed in Christ the Son and the HolySpirit which is God in his spiritual nature. 3 manifestation of God. not 3 in the GodHead. the history of baptizing in 3 names came later by the roman empire constatine forming a trinity baptizm that never took place in the org context of the bible. NOTE we do believe in the Father Son HolyGhost.

Everyone reading this need to put in search on you tube for " Nathaniel Haney- doctrine of baptism ". It gets into good detail and uses the word of God throughout the sermon with it interpreted through the Greek and Hebrew. It has 7 parts to it but they r short and awesome. U will not b dissapointed. I am a former trinitarian- and could no longer ignore the Word of God. I finally have the fullness of truth- praise Jesus!

The main reasons i don't believe they said 1 name is, i don't see any scripture showing or proving any devine change,
i don't see any actual baptism with the baptizer saying any name as he emmerse the believer
The spirit brought back to their rememberance of all Jesus said and did.
They would not disobey or reject Jesus words.
