Hi Sifu Yui: thank you so much for posting this. It's great to see you again (even if it's just on video!). I moved to Israel about 2 and a half years ago, and really miss the Yee's family. Training on my own here just isn't the same, but videos like this help me remember everything. Please share more!
Take care, and send my best to everyone in NY (Matt, Chris, Joseph, etc.)
@fragmintz Hi Mike, how are you? Hey e-mail me (or Facebook friend me) when you get a chance, I might have someone you can work out with while you're in Israel.
@1981reddragon At about the 2:50 mark I transition to 5-Animals. Neither the Iron Wire, nor the 5-Animals is shown in it's entirety. Just snippets of each are picked to show a small sampling of how it can be done.
@Nhia89 There are different ways of training Iron Wire. I'm doing it the Gong Kiu (Hard Bridge) way. Isometrically I tense and push against myself (either physically like the thumb against the pinky, or internally where the tendons and muscles are tensing). This is how I "store and build up" the chi. When I do the 5-Animals, I release this stored up chi by projecting the proper sounds and striking movements, such as whipping the technique.
@pierusa123 If you read the description, you would know that I mixed some of the 5-Animals, which includes Crane, into this shortened Iron Wire routine, to release the stored up energy from training the Iron Wire.

Sifu, when does the iron wire end and the 5 animals that you put in begin?

@NewYorkHungGa you should make a video about that explaining how. That'll be worth watching
