Jesus's job was first and to do the will of the Father which was to lead a blameless life, give people hope of a future and lead them to a relationship with God. Nowhere in the Bible does God mention to Jesus that he should form a religion or a church. The early church fathers didn't call themselves anything in regards to a religion, it was the Romans who called them "Christians" and it was an insult.
Also in Mark's style of Christianity no one is allowed to criticise or judge under any circumstances. Sounds great but you just end up fighting for your faith alone.

If everything has a creator than who or what created you? if you say your parents, who or what created them. you can go as far back as you want but in the end, even if you dont believe in Jesus as your lord and savior. you should at least believe in the one who created you. and do not look on hell lightly. for if you do you will regret your decision to want to be thrown into the pit of fire. i cant make you believe thats you decision

As Fourdeuce01 pointed out your argument is based upon an unsupported premise. If it were true that everything has a creator then you've created an infinite chain of creators, effectively disproving your own religion, faith, and deity.
If you want a neutral authority on the subject take a look at the work of Carl Sagan.
If you are a rational human being then belief is not a choice but a consequence of reasonable evidence.

According to Christianity a gentle elderly faithful Shinto woman who was pulled from the arms of her loving husband during the Japanese tsunami has been writhing and shrieking in unimaginable pain for some six months now.
The "justice" of the god of the Bible is obscene. It was prescribed by ignorant 1st century herdsmen who couldn't have imagined the cultural isolation of Japan, much less it's existence.

@movadoband Good point. I'd also like to say it's completely and totally ridiculous to say that "Religion" is anything other than, or different from, what this guy does. "Religion" is a very broad, sweeping title for a way of life patterned after whatever gospel they prescribe to. He is absolutely "Religious," because he believes in God, which (in my opinion) makes him quite insane... in addition to being a complete moron.

@movadoband I would agree with you about intelligent design, but it's much more likely that "Design" came from an advanced alien race, and not a magical, all-powerful God. Sound crazy? In considering the issue from a scientific standpoint, one must conclude that, given the immensity of the universe and the probability that intelligent life exists elsewhere, the "Alien" theory is much more plausible than the "God" postulation.

@Budoman69 I have started to lean towards interdimensional as opposed to intersteller life forms, if you ask yourself some basic questions about space travel it seems implausible for intersteller travel on the level it would require to cross galaxies...besides, what would a civilization with that technology have to gain by coming all that way? Oh, and we also have to ask, who created the aliens...if anyone knows, they aren't talking.

@movadoband I understand what you're saying, but we must also concede that an advanced alien race would have technology far, far beyond our understanding. So it stands to reason that they would have perfected interstellar travel. An alien race that would be capable of inter-dimensional travel, surely would also be capable of interstellar travel. Also, an alien race would have been "created" the same way we were: by natural occurrence, according to the laws of nature.

@movadoband In addition to my statement below, I want to clarify that it's more likely that life occurred naturally on this planet (as it did on all other planets capable of supporting life) and perhaps an advanced alien race intervened and caused the evolutionary jump that no scientist can explain--the jump that gave us the modern thought process, and the intellectual tools to grow and proliferate. Just a theory, but a logical one.

@Budoman69 Joseph was going to divorce her the night he found out, but he had a dream the same night where the same angel that told about Jesus to Mary told Joseph the same thing; and he would have divorced her otherwise. There is no evidence to show he even had heard anything from Mary. He only saw that she was pregnant. What a faith Mary had to depend on God. God gave Joseph the answers he needed in the way he would understand, and may God give you answers you need to understand.

I know it's hard to face the world knowing that God doesn't exist--that life doesn't go on after death, but that's what more people need to accept. Science and common sense have explained the truth, which is: there is no god, no devil, no heaven, no hell, no way. The bible is fiction.
