Always loved MTB - lived on Long Island in the mid 70's and was the only one in my 'crowd' who knew and liked them. (Maybe that's why I spent from '84-'05 in Nashville.)

One of the finest voices in Rock history.
With no disrespect to the Allman Bros I always liked these guys just a little bit better. They created a sound that was unique.
Duane and company could take a Willy Dixon
or John Lee Hooker song and make it their own
but they never raised goose bumps on my neck
