ya he is somali, a young guy, i think maybe about 30. a very nice guy, always smiling, and a very kind person. im not surprised that his recitations in salat are now being recorded. to hear his voice live is very amazing.

MashaAllah i really enjoy listening to shaykh Faisal Muhammad's recitation, but everytime i see your msg and your title "salafiyyah88" saddens me.. please change it. The salaf are far removed from the salafi sect of our times, please visit sunnipath...

Anyhow, I don't follow the "salafi sect" as you call it, rather I am among the ones who try to emulate the salaf. And sunnipath is more sufi oriented. My preferred site to visit is islam-qa. Now if anyone is to be called salafi today, it's them mashaAllaah, may Allaah reward them with the best, Ameen.
His voice is beautiful, mashaAllah. I can't stop listening to it :)

sadly the opposite of what you said is true.
as was stated by the apostle of God (saw), that his community would divide into 73 sects.
"HOLD TO THE ROPE OF ALLAH, ALL TOGETHER AND DO NOT BE DIVIDED" (holy Quran).
you are most certainly correct, we should stick to the Quran and Sunnah, as was understood by the sahaba (their consensus/IJMA).
not the Quran and sunnah reinterpreted or just taken literally.
