@billy2sweets There is a difference if it is Wild caught or captive breed, a lot of times you can keep captive breed, but the wild caught are illegal to own. This isnt the case every where though.

All of these seems to be only a few inches long (I know he said the last one can grow to one foot). The way he talks about them makes them seem to be more like trophys rather than pets as well. Do you collectors view them more as objects to trade and show off rather than pets?

I remember when I had a turtle when I was 7. :( I named her Valerie and she was the size of your turtles. D: I had her for quite awhile (not sure how long..) then she died. ): I don't know how. Every morning I'd check up on her and ask my mom if she fed her. (Valerie slept in my mom's room in her tank.) I remember putting her in a fish tank with a small fish (it was blue, red, purple...I forgot the name) and seeing them swim together! Then one day Valerie died... :/ :'( I was crying D:
