  • Ive heard the TZ range are good for recording at concerts, would i be better off with this one or one of the other TZ range?

  • My third Lumix, and the first two have sucked dust inside, so I guess this one will too? Though this propensity is probably due to the handy size, and the tendency to carry in a shirt pocket?

The zoom on the new TZ20 is good, and I bought for the GPS which isnt that accurate, and looking critically at the photos from my TZ7 and my TZ20, I think I have lost the pin sharp clarity of the TZ7, and the video is jerky; Do i need a new processer.

  • 3D pics are here :)

  • Are the weakness's you pointed out on this review better in the Leica D-lux 30??

  • I too had awful dust problems with my TZ10 & replaced it with a Canon S95. The Lumix had a good image stabilizer & an impressive zoom but tended to produce smeary jpegs & lacked a RAW facility. Not a bad travel camera (the GPS zapped the battery if left on) but I couldn't forgive the dust problem. The S95 doesn't have the fancy bits but produces better photos, mainly due to the F2.0 lens and image handling.

  • My TZ10 likes to suck dust inside via the zoom and gets stuff on the sensor easily. Twice I've had to get the sensor cleaned....

Zoom is good...I bought an S95 and I'm much happier with it.

  • this is our 62nd review of panasonic... lol are you not bored doing it for 62 times :)

  • i like mine but the lens bumps in vid when zooming in and out barely noticeable but is noticeable anyone else having this prob ...will put a vid up soon

  • 3D pictures!!! I assume this is done by the processor since it only has one lens and sensor. Love the fact they improved zoom range and movie mode.

  • @4funky1 The 3D images are taken by taken two seperate images, then the in-camera processing combines them to create a 3D effect.

  • Thanks.

  • Is there any manual control on here for aperature and shutter speed?

  • @MrDampkring if you look carefully at 20 seconds before he puts his hand on the dial, you can see the A, S, and M modes so I'm ASSUMING you can..

  • @minutes2midnite There are full manual controls on camera, which are accessed via the small Exposure button at the rear after selecting the relevant mode.

  • @minutes2midnite Yeah there's full manual control but, as per most 'manual compacts', there aren't that many aperture settings to choose from.

  • did u mean 1/1000 sec ? for samples the exp is reading 10/1000 sec.

  • @1986Chaitanya I think he means 1/100 sec!
