  • This is cool

  • Amen to Magic Maureen's comment!

  • Love the video. And it's so nice to finally find a video on YouTube where nobody is using profanity in the comments or the title!!!

  • I just loved watching The King Family and was so disgusted when the network decided to cancel it. My folks and I went to see them live at the Indiana State Fairgrounds Coliseum, and, after the show, we got to meet a few of them!

  • No. Robbie's girlfriend was Tina Cole.

  • Didn't Cathy play Robbie's girlfriend and then wife on "My 3 Sons"?

  • @Rotis59 No. That was Cathy's sister Tina.

  • love it. we need more of these shows on dvd. i bought the christmas show special last year and watched it a number of times. thoroughly entertaining. i emailed cam clark (king cousin) and he was nice enough to reply by saying he was lucky to have been involved in these great shows but sadly those days are long gone. i come from a close knit family in boston and we grew up watching these shows. reliving them on dvd will be sufficient for me :)

  • This is the best video and song I've seen and heard in a long time....

  • I'm glad she got off that pedestal.....makes me nervous just to watch her. She has a very good voice.

  • I had this 45 when I was like 6 or 7. I loved the show which sometimes came on before Lawrence Welk, and all the specials, of course. I find myself watching this over and over. I love Cathy and Tina.

  • on THE KING FAMILY SHOW/ALBUM CD just released today! As a bonus. Both albums along with JUST ONE SMILE and TODAY I'M IN LOVE Bonus tracks. King Family released a single of THE SWEETHEART TREE b/w AMEN. Hope that comes out as a bonus on CD soon, too!

  • Great vocal by Cathy. Song also recorded, but not issued, by the Orlons. I like the Cousins' version of "Just One Smile" too - would love to see that on YouTube.

  • Totally awesome! I've never seen this before and am surprised to find it's Cathy singing lead. I always thought it was Tina. Wish this would come out on CD but I'm very thankful to have the clip to watch.

  • Yes...me too! I always thought it was Tina! And I saw it originally on TV. I have the 45 of this song. I don't think it ever charted but it will always be a number one with me! Thanks for posting!
