  • Dodge Chrysler Jeep = Shit. Period. If you wanna buy American, buy Ford / GM.

  • My bet is the assembly line robot's run out of seal sealer...

  • im just going to have to say youve got a lemon.

  • my 2000 caravan=leak leak leak

  • 3 drive-lines and last one I had to pay to be made extra strong for my truck.Fucked diferential and transmission and the truck had only 75000 miles.I got all that fixed reinforced and made how it should have been made in the first place.Oh and your complaining about leaks, what a whimp.

  • LOL MY CAR DOESNT DO THAT! My car is stratus hehe!

  • I don't completely agree about Chrysler products being crap.. I have owned 6 automobiles, five of which were Chrysler Corp. products, including two K-cars and two minivans. Before that my dad owned 9 different Chrysler products and most of them were well made. I don't know what happened to the company after Iacocca left and Eaton sold it and Daimler ran it into the ground, but it's sad to see this.

  • Older Ones Were Great! Including K-cars....New Ones Have Lots Of problems!

  • I dont know why anyone in their right mind would buy a Chrysler. It's one thing if you are totally unaware of the fact that Chrysler is a joke to the auto industry, and you were fooled once...okay. To anyone who knows damn well of the number of complaints and problems with this company... then proceeds to buy one anyways because it just looked so pretty...we dont want to hear your whining or how Chrysler will not fix your car and is shady wit htheir warranty. That is all.

  • My grandparents have a Chrysler PT Cruiser... ~50,000 miles, and when the engine is running, all you hear is a loud squicking noise. My Honda, 137,000 miles, and it's engine sounds... well, like, an engine! On a COLD day, there is a slight squick, but it's nowhere near as bad as the PT. This is why I will NEVER buy a Chrysler, 'cause they suck, and they don't build their cars to last.

  • I hate how they have tiny little windows, but other than that they are okay. I like that the new Durango doesn't slant upward like the ugly Traverse, and isn't totally boxy like the Flex.

  • chryler dosent make there sunroofs i work at the warn truck where we make the dodge rams in detroit we dont make sun roofs and by look of the year of that mini van we aleready dropped the sunroof supplyer so its not chryler falt i oun a 97dodge avenger and the sunroof leaks but thats not chrylers falt its the sunroof companys

  • Ever hing about using a tarp genius?

  • GM SUCKS.

  • pretty much all sunroofs are designed to have a controlled leak...water leaks past seal and into drip tray which has a drain tube that runs near past ur headliner and down one of the pillars and out to the ground...if the drains are clogged or came disconnected...it will leak onto the head liner

  • @culotta23 its chrysler's fault for going with a crappy sunroof maker then hahaha. just messing around man.

  • @ktmyamaha01 like i said earlier...its most likely an easy fix, just diagnosed by amateurs with no pride...As a professional tech I personally do not like chrysler but their vans and trucks aren't horrible.... would never buy one of their cars but...

  • @culotta23 ah, if i HAD to i guess id drive one.

  • As a professional technician i have to agree that chrysler doesnt make the best products in the world but lol... your leak is probably something simple..looks like your sunroof drains are clogged...if you park it outside alot under tree's etc debris can clog the drains causing the drip tray to overfill and flood your headliner... usually a light burst of air into the drain tubes will clear them out and you are good to go..

  • You bought an American car... that's the problem from day one. I'm American and I have never owned any American car because of everything you have stated. They're poorly built and we have terrible taste in interior design. Think about it... if you owned a big company... would you like to make a product that never breaks so customers never come back to you? of course not. That's how we think in this country. That's why Honda's and Toyota's are on top. They "PRIDE" themselves to build good things.

  • What would prevent that is a $10 retaining pin. Something Chrysler leaves out of all the 41 RE transmissions it makes over more than a decade. The 2.7 engine they use in about everything is notorious and many of them blew at less than 50,000 miles despite being well maintained. . Chrysler of the last 20 years is the exact opposite of what it was in the 1950's and 1960's. They should be out of business.

  • Chrysler has been making junk for years now. They used to be great in the 1950's and 1960's. The 41 RE transmission is a total piece of junk, the 2.7 sludge motor is the worst engine made and Chrysler never stands by it's warranty,, even with improvements, the 2.7 usually does not last long, The electronics are terrible. Ignition components are very expensive and failure prone, often not showing any codes, so tough to track down. That 41 RE trans they use in everything can blow apart.

  • Chrystler does suck, when installing hid kits, capacitors are needed to to cheap wirring in head lights, sorry folks...

  • Chrysler doesn't suck

    CHEVROLET SUCKS

    GM SUCKS

    FUCK GM, FUCK CHVY!

  • @SecularTechnology dont listen to these guys if they dont work at the plant then they cant say what sucks and what dosent

  • Looks like somebody is trying to get free money out of his van. I highly doubt that there something wrong with the van. only the owner could do something to it to make it that way im afraid to say

  • never blow your hard earned money on products who´s only selling feature is that it is AMERICAN. How WEAK! They wave a chinese-made American flag in your face and dont try to sell you on its quality but because it was made locally which is in itself bullshit considering that japanese made cars have more domestic parts than most "American" cars ever did. Fusion is Mexican. The challenger is Canadian. Sell on quality and stfu about where its made because that too is bullshit!

  • @MexCan65 True.

  • Comment removed

  • i bet its leakin because the luggage reack on the roof needs a gasket between the roof and the luggage rack

  • i don't buy american cars since a good 15 years, today a drive a subaru

  • @tarzan694 keep driving it fag

  • @tarzan694 only ever owned Subaru, three of them, looking for another!

  • Chrysler products SUCK. Argue with me: I am still driving my 1995 Plymouth Neon Sport Coupe purchased July 1995. It's 2010. That's 15 years. It's a poorly engineered car, filled with substandard parts, not to mention the crash tests (right here on (YouTube) that will give any sane person nightmares. What sucks worse than Chrysler products? Chrysler dealerships - particularly the Service Managers. AVOID CHRYSLER. They don't stand behind their products.

  • @ewfwefefwsaf

If Chrysler sucks, then why are you still driving your Neon?

  • @ewfwefefwsaf neons sucked from the start dosent mean thew whol company does look at how many pontiac garand ams and chevy cavalires are always on the side of the free way and yes i have even seen some camarys and some nessan altimas fuck thos jap bull shit i work in america not over seas

  • WTF. I've never seen that happen before to any car.

  • Its just a bad seal on the roof rack. no prob to fix it frankly use 100% silicoone caulk from home depot. takes a screwdriver. the problem is it will stain the head linner.

  • cars are like people....they don't come out the right way and always needs fixin

  • my family had a 1999 base model 3.0 we bought new and it never laeked or any nonsence like your experencing but we did replace 3 sensors in the transmission at 100$ each over the 250 000kms we drove it

  • Hey Tim healy, your car is awesome! It has a great "climate control" even controls rain@@@!@!!@...... lol jk seriously get a new car

  • are you the owner of the site donotbuydodge.ca?

  • If you would like a minivan that is very reliable and actually doesn't leak and responds to your problems, go for either the Toyota Sienna or the Honda Odyssey. My aunt has a 2005 XLE Limited edition with 78,000 miles when it was bought used last year. She's a spirited driver, but that is it because the minivan has no problems whatsoever, and it doesn't leak at all. So if you have a chance, try the advise i gave you and see if that works. :)

  • If the light is filled with water, how does it work?

  • I am a mechanic and the majority o cars that come in are Dodge or Chrysler's. They are pieces of shit, every. Single. One.and not all foriegn cars are good I've see BRAND new Nissans leak oil like they don't have a drain plug. And of course nobody checks their oil so the motors blow up in 10000 miles

  • Newer chryslers are shit

  • @MegaMichael1973 All Chrysler Brands Have Been Shit Forever!

  • Other than my JEEP I would never buy American cars

  • TOTALLY RIGHT CHRYSLER DOES SUCK ALL AMERICAN CARS SUCK AND THEIR NOT RELIABLE C I HAV A JAPANESE CAR AND NO PROBS WAT SO EVER SWITCH 2 FOREIGN

  • WTF? Dude I have a 2006 Chrysler Pacifica that leaks like a friggin faucet when it rains... my carpets are soaked and moldy now... to your knowledge has there been any class action or recalls with regard to the leaking issues?

  • chrysler fucking sucks. and the caravan is for mormons with 8 damn kids...i get sick of mini vans here in utah

  • was this a windshield replacement? hehehe that's baaaaddd. I had this problem with my car but it was because my roof was rusted around the windscreen.

How nice to have water dripping all over your kid eh? Man that's bad!

Did you end up getting a new vehicle?

  • Fucking piece of shit, your a dumbass for wasting your money on chrysler buy FORD!

  • @bad41132

and buy what? A WINDSTAR? hahaha

    Get a Sienna or Odyssey.

  • @bad41132

    and a FORDS any better????

    DUMBASS!!!

  • @bad41132 you know our company switched to chrysler they have problems ford had huge problems and then there is chevy never had those last us. our trucks from ford we could not keep the drive shaft in them and our mini vans from ford fell apart roughly every 50,000 miles our chrysler had issues to but they lasted longer mini van. our dodge trucks only issue was the transmission but after a rebuild we have them last about 200,000 miles

  • Al Bundy never complained !!! :)

  • @sinlesss1 LMAO you got that right

  • Chrysler can eat the diarrhea directly from my nasty butthole. :-)

  • If this car has a sunroof the drains are probably just plugged.... Happened to my 2003 DTS took it to Dealership they even replaced all the drains and Ive never had an issue again...

  • one of ur hoes that drains ur sun roof is pluged and fills the cubby hole were ur glass slides into

  • I see a hyundai santa fe.. drive that! Mine has 160K and never leaks

  • yea before mine got totalled it was loyal to me... (300K miles 05 model...)

  • Not me! My mother bought her first Dodge- a new 1995 Neon. Never again! Honda Fit, with plans to upgrade to the new Fit.

I'm the same- there isn't really anything else I'd drive (maybe the VW Tiguan)

  • CAN YOU SAY LEMON LAW?!??!?!

  • Can you say Electrical shorts???? Water not good with electricity...

  • What the?!?!?!?!?!?!

Is it your weather stripping? Do you need to replace and reseal them? I've never seen such a thing.. .Hope you can get it fixed...

  • Well dude that really sucks that you and your family was conned by that guy. cars really arent what they should be. My question is, how dose the water get to the hanger?

  • Dodge, Chrysler, and Jeep (and the 4th brand now, RAM) are the same thing. They just re-badge them to fool the buyer. Just compare the Nitro to Liberty and the 300 to the Charger. Or the 2011 NEW G. Cherokee to the 2011 G. Cherokee. by the way, the current Dodge Caliber is the old Neon, which is also the Jeep Compass and Jeep Patriot. Not to mention that the Caravan is the Town & Country.

  • The 300 & Charger are different cars fyi.

  • Thanks for the "fyi" but you are mistaken. in fact the Magnum is also the same as the 2 you mentioned. Have you heard of the "LX Platform"? EE Architecture/many Mechanical parts were derived "(cloned)from Daimler W211 platform(1997 E Class).

In fact, the Magnum was sold in Europe as the 300 Wagon. Furthermore, the Fiat 500 and Alfa Romeo 940 will be brought to the US as the "new" 2012 Dodge Caliber and 2013 Chrysler "TBD" respectively , re-manufactured in Mexico.

  • Sure they share platforms but the are not the same car. The 300 & Charger look different from eachother. If they were just rebadged they would be like a GMC Sierra & a Chevy Silverado.

  • This is the problem? Your roof rack is leaking.I have a Honda now on it's 3 engine before it reached 100,000 miles.I will trade you

  • Make sure you change the engine oil regularly. Honda sucks, I agree though. in fact, all OEMs suck. They don't give a rats ass about customers, only PROFIT.

  • ummm toyotas r killing people and this is what u r worried about?

  • wow.....great point

  • I guess you are not aware of the 2001-2007 Liberty issue where the weld on the ball joints breaks while driving, and the wheels separate off the vehicle completely. or the Durango's cluster catching on fire due to a cracked capacitor, due to heat. Wait till NHTSA moves on to the next OEM. GM, Ford and Chrysler are in bed with NHTSA. I had a 2005 G.Prix who accelerates on it's own when cruise is set, during sub zero temp. After 10 months GM found it to be caused be an erratic wheel speed sensor.

  • maybe you're just a fat douche, don't blame a whole corporation for a damn leak. if you were a man and didn't own a fucking minivan then maybe you wouldn't have this problem. Get a dodge, and get a fucking life

  • Who would he suggest he blame then, dickhead? The guy clearly has kids, but that's besides the point- NO new vehicle should do this, and in case you aren't aware, the Caravan is as much a Dodge as any of their other shit they flog.

  • Mopar are great vehicles, I own trucks from all three brands and Dodge trucks hold up the best. Ford is the worst company out there, I own Fords.

  • Mopar or no car!

  • Also, sometimes, roof leakage can happen with sunroofs. Not all Sunroofs are perfectly sealed and they do tend to leak after heavy rain or snow from wear and tear.

  • @yuna238 Actually Yuna, I was angry because Chrylser refused to look at my videos and insisted that my van did not leak. Their customer service was abysmal. I won my Lemon Law suit and Chrysler provided me with a brand new van. and it doesn't leak.

  • @timhealy

Dont most car companies ignore stuff like this? Ford had avoided their braking system problem until it was made public through media pressure.

I doubt all car manufactueres will say "oh let us take a look" most of them ignore these things.

  • I had this same experience with Ford in 2002, so I can relate.

  • Well if you buy american cars then there will always be leakage somewhere sooner or later. American engineering in automotive is quite slack compared to its competitors.

I;ve always owned an American car so I know leakage always happen.

  • @ yuna238. You are correct. I've had water leaking issues with several American-made cars. These were more due to production errors (missing body sealers, etc). One I fixed myself, but the other two have some serious issues with water leaks that I, or the dealer, could not fix. I also had a Japanese-made van that leaked water terribly, but this was also easily repaired by me.

  • ???

What are you talking about? I bought the van brand new and paid for the extended warranty. It started leaking immediately. I was down there every few weeks to tell them it leaked. Their response to me "no it doesn't." So you tell me Yuna-did it leak? You think it was fine that the rep that sold me the van and the service techs refused to watch video of the leak to try to identify what was causing the problem? That's perfectly acceptable to you?

  • @timhealy. Until one has to deal with the frustration and expense of a car defect, they will remain blissfully ignorant of a problem. The people who scream "Mopar or no car" are the ones who haven't driven a late-model Dodge with these problems, on top of making payments. This is no offense to anyone, but these are not good cars. This is a reality made worse when your Mopar doesn't run and the payment is still due.

  • oh I didnt know this was a brand new car I assumed it was a few years old yeah this isant right

  • @timhealy And, let me guess, you took the van because it was "American & not that Jap crap", right?!!!

  • People should stop bashing Chrysler about leakage problems. Its not only Chrysler that gets leaking. Most of American cars have leaking problems either with the engine (e.g oil, coolant, water). All American cars have similar traits of leaking because the engineering isnt good.

If you want less problems, get a Japanese or European car. They are better engineered.

  • FORD IS THE ONE THAT FUCKIN SUCKS!!! Found on Road Dead bitches

  • @MPLSTORM Ford has multiple cars rated to be as reliable as Honda and Toyota. Neither Chevy or Dodge can make that claim.

  • in the early 00s and 90s Ford has had some of the worst reliability ratings out there, the worst. while Chrysler and GM had very high ratings. Ford will always have found on road dead in their genes...I own Ford trucks new and old and they don't hold up as well as my Dodges.

  • Chevy and Dodge have the most reliable trucks out there and have for over 60 years. Dodge and Jeep started the HD truck. hell the Dodge brothers even used to build Ford trucks for them. haha

  • Problem is, there is no sunroof.

  • @fixinggrace Problem is, the van is a Crapsler!!!!

  • @landyachtfan79 Yep!

  • @landyachtfan79 I guess there is a sunroof, my bad!

  • It is also probably the sun roof, we had a 2001 durango rt with the sun roof, the way the roof is formed it will not seal properly, thats why we dont get sunroofs in vehicles any more. Best bet is to check that out, i highly doubt its the roof rack...

  • Every minivan I've ever owned has leaked. A Villager and a Windstar. You might end up pulling the headliner and finding the problem yourself. Car dealers, in general are going to say the same thing, "can't duplicate the problem", It would be a safe bet that the roof rack is leaking where it screws into the roof. Take it off and put some non-corroding silicone on the screws before you put it back on.

  • I suggest you buying a Toyota Sienna if you want a VERY decent minivan.

  • my old mazda MPV had the same prob

  • for some weird reazon my honda windows keep messing up... & it already happened to me 3 times.. & 3 different cars... weird...

  • Poor Car Seat! :(

  • and that's why they are going broke.

  • wow what a bitch that must be!

  • Why do all you stupid Americans buy American cars? They are the worst in the world by FAR.

  • Actually, that van was made in Canada. Canadian Damier-Chrysler vehicles are pretty low on quality, though not usually as much as Hyaundai, Kia, Lada, Yugo, and if we can judge a car company just by one line of cars, I'd throw Mitsubishi in there, too. I had in my '04 Lancer, a clutch throw out bearing/slave cylinder explode in traffic. Now, Mitsu decided to make it all one part, save money. This also dumps the contents of your brake reservoir onto your clutch. Very common problem in '04s.

  • Mind you that Hyundai/Kia has climbed to the top now, although I will agree with you that chrysler and gm are consistently some of the lowest quality cars we have on the road in America. I can't say about the Lancer, but I am certain that some of Mitsubishi cars do FAIL at quality, and it just so happens to be the chrysler influenced models, like the Raider.

  • "And the kids are in the back seat, which they shouldnt be by law, but they have to be because its wet"

I hope you DID NOT jeopardize your kids lives so you could make a point to chrysler. A moist ass? or splattered on the windsheild because the seat belt systems are not designed for their body type? Get some wire and ream out your sun roof drains or go buy one of those never-ever break down hondas(yeah right!)

  • chrysler executives suck the BIG obama one

  • take off the roof rack and seal the screw heads with silicone

  • you would think they would drive a few more dripping miles to take it to another dealer to see what they can do...?

  • lol i have a 1978 Plymouth horizon that dosent leak

  • you arent the only with a leaking water cause my dads 2008 jeep wrangler unlimited and when it leaked there was a puddle on the floor

  • fail

  • Move to Arizona

  • Chrysler doesnt want to fix any ones car because its own by the government and its like this free health car shit dont buy an government run car company chrysler jeep dodge is now own by the government and it sucks and they wont fix any of your problems so get a ford or some other car then a crappy car then this

  • thats what you get for buying american. i will never buy another american cars after my experience with my ford contour. You should seriously burn that bitch!

  • You buy a van with a hole in the roof (sunroof) and then are shocked it leaks??..go by an umbrella and quit whining.

  • Thats a humidifing (spelling) roof, in case it is too dry inside.

  • What a fucking idiot, if it leaks fix it or get it fixed. It is a no brainer if you can't get it fixed your dealer send Chrysler this vid. I find it very interesting that there are more Chrysler mini van on the road than any other brand they must be doing something right.

  • There are lots of Chryslers on the road because they are dirt cheap. I found out a few days ago that a Dodge Caravan is actually cheaper than my Toyota Corolla LE (compact sedan). Honda Odyssey is about 50% more expensive than a Caravan. A Toyota Sienna is also about 50% more expensive.

People are buying Chryslers simply because it's all they can afford.

  • Well fella if all you can afford is a Caravan at least you have wheels. I just Googled Ford sucks, GM sucks and Toyota sucks it seem nobody is happy. I drive a 09 Ram 1500 and I love it, compared to the Ford down the street and the Toyota a block over it is a limo.

  • DITTO!!!!

  • yep aint that the truth

  • @ShawnD1 Why don't you just shut up? They aren't just buying them because it's all they could afford. Maybe because of the features that make it a good van or that they think the quality is really good. Plus they are one of the best minivan's that are being sold. So just shut up.

  • Yeah they sell a cheap van. You get what you pay for with a Chrysler. There quality has been dropping since the early 80's. It's sad. i used to be a big Dodge guy.

  • I don't even know what would possess somebody to buy a Chrysler mini-van in the first place. Did you save a couple of thousand on it in the short term? Was it worth it? Even a cursory look at Consumer Reports should have been a warning: Overall scores: Toyota Sienna FWD 93 Honda Odyssey 91 Toyota Sienna AWD 89 Kia Sedona 79 Hyundai Entourage 79 Nissan Quest 78 Chrysler Town and Country Ltd 64 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT 60 Seems like you bought a Chrysler but expected a Honda or Toyota. ;-)
  • That makes me mad to see this.. I sold Chryslers for years and hated when people would ask "HOW RELIABLE IS YOUR PRODUCT?"

I would have to lie to them and say it is the best. Fearing karma, I quit.

  • Looks like a clogged or disconnected sunroof drainage tube. Headliner needs to be pulled and everything inspected. If I were you I'd go to the dealer, show them this video and kick whoever you need to in the ass. While it's in make them pull the carpeting to check for mildew or anything else that can grow in a dark, humid environment.

  • Every generation of Chrysler minivan has had serious problems. What is wrong with this company? Why can't they build a decent van?

  • I feel sorry for you.......I'll say a prayer for you tonight before I go to sleep in my cardboard box...........gee, I hope it doesn't rain.

  • Fuck GM & Chrysler

  • Or better yet, Chrysler should adopt a business model similar to N.P.R. or the Salvation Army. You can become a Chrysler member by sending in a donation of any size. Or you can visit a shopping center and throw a couple bucks to the Chrysler employee ringing a bell. Any thing is good as long as we don't have to actually drive Chryslers.

  • That guy is always thinking about himself and his family. What about Chrysler. Chrysler employees come first. Ask not what Chrysler can do for you, but what you can do for Chrysler. Not-making-any-profit organizations like Chrysler can not survive if it were for the good will and patriotism of America-loving citizens. In fact, money should be taken out of your paycheck every payday and sent directly to Chrysler employees.

  • If it is not the sun roof. It is probably leaking in at the roof rack mounting crush nuts.

  • Get a Air compressor. Hook up a high pressure blower. Open the sun roof. Blow air throw the drains on the back and front corners of the black sun roof frame. Then take a bottle of water and fill the sun roof frame rail. See if it pools or drains throw.I bet it is stopped up with leaves. Do this and stop your bitching. Any vehicle with a sun roof is likely to have this problem. I am sorry that you can't find a tech that knows this. Don't blame Chrysler. They have TSB's about these things.

  • our 07 Toyota Avalon sun roof does not leak we have had it coming on three years now.

  • they should have gotten it right 10+ years ago then, but they didn't. They desided to give themselves a pat on the back and 10K bonus check every year and said "the heck with quality, let the customer eat cake" Its going to take ALOT of time before Americans start buying cars from the big three...at least, a long time for me.

  • JAP CARS BREAK TOO. People are convenced that Toyota's are so much betters. What is better is the vehicle owners comitment to preventative mantance. For example, most Toyota Camary owners I know change their oil at 3k every time. Most Dodge Intrepid owners changed their oil at 10k. Everytime one came to ower dealer for the infamous 2.7 knock. It was sludged up from lack of oil changes. We would ask for records, and it was always the case. People that drive american cars amost always abuse them.

  • Sure they break down, everything mech. will. And my "JAP" car was made in the USA as opposed my wife's car (Ford) which was made in Brazil. I have 3 friends that I know personally that had the sludged up engines (Intrepid) and all three of them do 3k-5k oil changes on all of there cars, and all three of them got screwed, and Chrysler did NOTHING for them. Sorry sir....here...have $300 off your next Chrysler....Thanks for you business....NEXT!! Send in the next fool...Welcome to Moron motors!

  • Well said! This video is ridiculous to say the least. All the North American car haters need to get a life!

  • i feel sorry for dealerships, they have to try to sell these horrible vehicles that are poop on four wheels. Stick with Toyota, quality X 10

  • The sun roof drain is blocked. It rolls back from the sun roof into the head liner and out that area. I have news for You. Toyotas do that too! I work for Chrysler jeep. And I have worked for toyota. 10 years ago there was a quality difference. Now no difference. I know,It took a huge chunck out of my paycheck. Also American vehicle owners as a whole neglect their cars, then bitch about problems, with a few exceptions. Jap car owners tend to mantain their cars, which prevents alot of problems

  • Your car will rust itself from the inside out. That sucks man ... sorry. =(

  • You put your kids in the back seat because of some dripping water? Wow... That's really just, well... Retarded.

  • what we hell go to service! firs time see I have lot of chryslers voyagers but that see first time...

  • i understand your frustration my parents have an 03 dodge grand caravan that started having transmission problems which we got fixed. after that tho the powersliding door motor broke, then the rear power window motor started giving out and now the things rusting on the side. but our sunroof strted leaking just like yours did and still does but its very rare. but still the things like falling apart

  • As a dealer, I agree. However, are you saying that ALL Toyota dealers are top notch, and that all Chrysler dealers are not?

    Reasonable people don't use absolutes...

many Chrysler dealers are over the top good dealers--as are many Toyota dealers...

The point is, any business is only as good as their customer care--and it doesn't matter which manufacture you represent...

  • thats not the damn point the point is that this just shows why chrylser can't build anyhting worth the time of day and secondly toyota has a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG reputation for building high quality cars

  • I'm a Chrysler Dealer. I started as a salesman in 1983....

I have a Five Star dealership and we don't let things like this happen. Your car is not better than your dealer.

I don't have quality problems and I am perplexed at the feeding frenzy I see.

It seems when people are down, some people like to start kicking...

I know your are frustrated about your van.... but I think your dealer is the problem. Did he or she make the cut?

  • The dealer reflect the quality of the car. Do you know why Toyota is on top because its dealership is top notch with service that Chrylser, GM and Ford can't match.

  • "However, are you saying that ALL Toyota dealers are top notch, and that ALL Chrysler dealers are not?"

    Good question.

  • You are right, the dealer is the problem. There is a defect, but for some reason the dealer is unable to confirm that a leak exist must less fix it. Did the customer show the dealer this video, or bring it in when it actually was leaking and show them that indeed water was coming in? The appropriate title should be 'insert dealer name' sucks. Personally I would drive it through the car wash, and start with the sunroof and go from there.

  • Chrysler Sucks!!!!

  • Totally agree man. My mom had a 1995 Neon- piece of junk. Glad someone backed into it; my dad managed to squeeze out 3 times what the damn thing was worth from the write-off. I sold her part way on a Honda Fit- two years running and she loves it- wants to upgrade to the new body style. I own an Odyssey and it's the most terrific thing I've ever driven (aside from my 74 Westfalia which is in a class of it's own)

  • I have worked in all big 3s and Chrysler by far is the worst. No sound engineering goes into their cars and it shows. No quality what so ever. Atleast at Ford & GM, targets were set to Lexsus & BMW 700 series, but Chrysler's targets!!!!! Nothing. Just improve a little from pervious models!!!! Well if you couldn't sell the previous models then why do you think you can sell these garbages. Problem is not the dealers. Problems is the product.

  • ur van has a sun roof. theres drains on it to keep water out when it rains. there plugged with shit. find out were they are and clean them. prob in the celling some were. not chryslers fault alltho i will be honest since like 1999 they have been shit. but any car with a sunroof does this. thats y i hate sun roofs

  • The sun is out, & yet it's raining inside the van?!?!?! WTF is this crap? Fake video. Nice try, but Chrysler makes really good products.

  • How could that possibly be fake? It WAS raining in at least one of the clips here. That's besides the point though- you should be able to spray the goddamned thing with a pressure washer and not have this happen.

  • @Diesel4me2 It rained overnight & water is still leaking into the cabin, dumbass!!!!!!

  • Dodge/Chrysler deserves to go under.
