I saw the real thing! An F-4 nearly exact in all detail including the Playboy bunny on the tail. the plane was called their "Mascot" at the Point Mugu Naval Air Station at Point Mugu, Ca. back in 1985. It was,in my opinion the sharpest looking F-4 ever! Ron409

The part I enjoyed was the whistle sound at idle.

I worked ground maint. on F4 C aircraft at a USAFE base in Holland. This whistle sound caused by the plates attached ahead of the intakes was terrible. PS, those plates should be drilled with tones of holes..

We latter transitioned into the F15 Eagle and this was whistling sound was gone. Still, I had to wear ear plugs, hearing protectors and a wool cap to help with the sound.

It still would vibrate your entire skull and bones to the core.

F4 Fantom was awesome and this is very close to how I would imagine it looked inflight. The speed and handling looked right on. Loved the 'eye level' shots making the plane look massive and mean.

Engines run about 2k or more a pop. So there's easily 5k there. Add in materials that's probably 400 to 700, then small parts another 200 to 400, then the electronics and satellite(from main rx) receivers so that's easily another 400, probably more seeing as he's defo using top quality servos if hes already got that much money flying about.

@henerymag Pretty much the rule with all R/C aircraft is, the range is as high as you can see with your eyeballs. You will lose orientation with the plane before the radio signal runs out.
