@Blatino She is a little hoarse but, MAN, she still has such power and control in her voice. YES, she was at the very beginning of her pregnancy here (I believe, or right around her miscarriage). You can tell in her face (how round it is) and she is wearing an outfit to 'hide' the beginnings of it. This was during 'The Bodyguard' filming. It's the same wig (styled like she wore for the Oscars scene) she wore throughout the film.

Only in a career like Whitney's an album selling 12 million copies worldwide would be a "disappointment" LMAO. Other artists would sell their firstborn for those sales even back then. This performance showcased her transition from pristine pop to more RnB tinged pop, and it would follow her for the rest of her career. She did it at just the right moment, transitioning at her peak, so it forced her fans to see her for all the styles she encompassed.

The music on this album (Im Your Baby Tonight) is great. If you have it, listen to it again. If not, get it. It was a rediscovery for me. It is a shame it did not sell so well. Funny though just a few months later, the bodyguard show cased Whitney's incredible talent. Her voice was at its best at this time. Rich, full, and easily she could hit every note.

So well done, a medley from uptempo numbers and the interaction with the backgroundsinger, the little girl and the dancers... This is why she is the best! I enjoy watching it very much!
