Splendid left hand. Musically childlike, in the 2 and 3 variations specially, she's rushing, didn't give audience enough time to enjoy. And the slower part didn't touch me. But anyway it's clear enough for the competition. We have so many good "competition players" recently.

a good performance of a difficult piece

however, often times she wasn't together with the pianist (bad accompanying-piano's tiny bit late all the time). but shin's tempo wasn't consistent within a variation so it was harder for the pianist to follow. besides, she sped up too much at the end. i think she went the safe way; she could have been more daring.
