Caraaa n precisa do rotateme pra girar a tela automaticamente , o proprio N95  tem essa funcao , é só configurar para girar automatico.....é so entrar no menu - config. - personalização - tela - girar tela e selecionar automatico e prontoo

go to Menu->settings-->General-->Per­sonalisat...-->Display--> u will see there 6 options the second one is "Rotate Screen" switch it to Automatic

Well actually, for the classic N95, Nokia has just released a new firmware update v 30.0.015, which puts in the auto rotation function, so need to install another app.

so i invented this new program

try to upgrade via Nokia Pc Suite. There's a utility that's specialized in upgrading the firmware, no network provider involved.

Make sure you have the warranty certificate before you attempt to do this (or a proof you bought the phone).

If this doesn't work, go to the nearest NOKIA store with your proof of buy and ask them to upgrade your firmware, it takes about 2 hours here in Portugal.

If this option is not available to you, send me a message ;)

if you upgrade to firmware 20.xxx.xxx you don't even have to use this program, nokia has built it's functionality with the phone.

Also only works with N95 phone. And if you want to try it in a version prior to 20.xxx.xxx you have to install another program that enables the use of the accelerometer.

But I think it's best to just upgrade the firmware anyway.

i agree... some of the "coin magic" need 20.xxx.xxx version of n95...

but actually n73, n80 etc.. also have sensor..

N73 and N80 do not have motion sensor ( accelerometer).

That is a light sensor, it measures the amount of light in the environment so the phone can adjust the screen brightness, so it can save battery.

The sensor needed for rotateMe to work is a motion sensor, more accurately denominated accelerometer.

Hey for all you people who don't know how to sign symbian apps or are new to all this we have a new way to sign symbian apps! No symbian signed account, no 3rd party software, and no certificates!It takes around 10 minutes to do and its EXTREMELY easy!!! My friend and I are working on the video even now! samir (maker of rotate me) has a life aswell so it is very hard to keep on his work to get this app fully signed. he has not finished making sure all the bugs are gone from the application yet so is unable to sign it openly.

the n95 was out a long time before iphone.. nokia had the tilt sensors/accelerometers in their phone first..

the applications havent all been released yet, but the camera has rotated the orientation of the photo you take depending on how the camera is held since its release..
