@epicblog123 no problem ;-) the small difference is this: you now u have the 2 sides of the table, right? and in tabletennis, you hit the ball so it gets to the opponent side, like in real tennis. in pingpong, you hit the ball, and it has to hit both sides before the opponent can hit the ball, so it hits your side, then his side.

@JayTie1 whats the difference then. the names are interchangeable. it started as table tennis and people started using the name ping pong based on how the balls sounded as they hit the table and rackets....

@GDINSKY people say the name because they think its the same. but it still is not, and if you were professional player, you would know the difference, because playing pingpong can be a training for playing tabletennis. and the difference lies in the rules, as i explained in another comment.

@Uatemydoodle In pingpong you have to hit both sides of the table, but in table tennis you only have to hit the opponents side, except when you serve the ball :)

@Uatemydoodle It is like this: in Tabletennis, when u hit the ball, it is supposed to hit the opponents side of the table, then ur opponent hits the ball and it goes to your side etc.

In Pingpong, you hit the ball, it FIRST hits your side of the table, then the opponents side, then ur opponent makes it hit again First his own side before the ball jumps over to your side.
