I just made such a thing of glass with advanced lightning settings and soft shadows and another glas object behind it and my render bar is stuck right now while my cpu (q9550@3.6) and ram (4gb) are sitting at 100% usage.. "Every iteration is going to dramatically slow down render time", but atleast it's gonna make everything look really smooth and cool xD

turbosmooth is good but it makes way to many polys if you are modeling for games turbosmooth is not an option

there are a bunch of reasons why it may not work.

1) find out what error it is

2) look up the error code on google

3) don't post your installation problems on 3ds tutorial videos. they're for people who already got it working

great video by the way. i've been looking to learn how to get that shape that you got before the turbosmooth...and a raytraced material with a falloff map would make the final product look awesome.
