Florentino can never be a fighter like pedro sosa is, he's won 7Nationals from jo's to Open, Florentino has'nt won one yet. Lets see what happens when they get a rematch in this years golden gloves.

The fight from the golden gloves was not contreversial, pedro won clean, he always had his guards up letting no punches get in at all. Florentino always been a good fighter since he was with Alex and salinas from the harlem pal. Pedro just finished fightin @ nationals pal and won 6 fights straight and took a break. He wasnt in shape for this fight which caused him not to throw punches. Thats the only reason why florentino beat pedro.

I guess a case can be made that Fiorentino won the gloves final because he was more active than pedro and it is amateur boxing, but pedro landed more. Pedro was more competitive in the gloves and threw more punches than he did in this fight. He fights too much like a pro. There are only 3 -4 rounds and fighters have to work

fiorentino is an impressive fighter. He definitely deserved this victory because he threw his hands more than sosa and landed often. Great footwork and handspeed. I do not feel the gloves loss was controversial because Fiorentino let his hands go, but he was on his bicycle too much. He caught many clean shots. Also, alot of his shots hit Pedro's arms. Fiorentino improved his defense in this fight and stood his ground with big combinations.
