now whats the point of this rifle in real life. The M82 is a 10-round capacity semi automatic. The M95 is a 5-round bolt action. Same bullet fired. The M82 is better in every way so I don't see any reason for the M95

@B52Stratofortress1 It is an older model gun. It isnt as high tech as present day guns. Back when they were used, it was one of the most powerful, most efficient model of rifle out there.

The only thing that stops me from playing BF games is that snipers aren't one hit kill to the body. OBVIOUSLY, any gun can do a one hit to the head so snipers are kinda pointless in that sense in BF. Bolt-action snipers should be one hit kill to the upper body, it makes more sense. Also, they should make another sniper rifle that is always a one hit kill but with ridiculously low rate of fire like 4-6 seconds delay to shoot your next bullet.

@TheAlexagius you spot enemies from far away, and that is an advantage of a recon; they can save your ass. for example, a guy might be seeking up on a team mate, and you can spot the guy, and your team mate will kill him. also, snipers can save your ass as well :D

It's a Barrett .50 Calibre Sniper Rifle. There's the M82 which features in Modern Warfare which is a semi-automatic rifle; then there's the M95 which features in BC2. They're not extraordinarily different.

if you want my opinion this m95 rifle is wayyy overrated. for example, if you get used to it enough, you can get the job done even with the VSS. well, at least the soft targets.

best combo for using a sniper for assault would be the vss, 4x scope for medium/close kills, c4 for breaching, and magnum ammo for faster kills....btw if some haven't figured it out, the vss is full auto :P found that out my second game of using it after being used to the type 88

when I snipe I play with my squad. there is always and assault to resupply my motion sensors. knowing where every on is can make a winning squad. Gol 4x for close shots and the occasional snipe

The m95 is made and designed by Barrett Firearms. It was designed to be a shorter, and more accurate than the m82.

the M95 may look like the Barrett .50 cal but atleast it doesnt fire like it. the one in this game (being the m95) seems like it almost acts like bolt action, as you pull that thing back every time you fire.

When you are sniping in COD, it feels so pointless, you only round round round in shitty maps. But in BF, you can hide inside a building, and if someone spots u, they can blow the whole wall down, or destroy the entire building, thats much much better. BF = Much better than CoD.
