  • Do u think the clutch in the GSXR is durable enough to hold up to the abuse it will get running it in a RZR especially when turning in 4WD?

  • @jeepcj74me It has held up so far. You are definitely correct, though, in stating that the GSXR clutch being used on an off-road 4x4 is NOT its intended use. :)

  • I was wondering if you guys put a street bike engine in it. I guess you did sense I read the description

  • @ShadyJeffrey :) Yeah we did. It is not practical at all, and the conversion, while AWESOME, takes a long time to do... but it is just fun. :)

  • wow amazing........

  • YES mine does sound like that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @thedavebuggy Awesome! :)

  • i want it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @superatvmedia how much do yall charge for the gsx rzr?

  • Can yall make a r1 raptor??????

  • @rubenass That would be amazing!!!

  • @SuperATVMedia How much do you thinck it will coast??

  • @SuperATVMedia How much would yall charge???

  • NICE..... :D

  • to many dollars and not enough seance

  • Really awesome, but who buys your tires?

  • @AlansPhoto1 The Owner of the company! :) This is really his baby, but for the video one of our drivers was taking it for a spin. :)

  • wonder if my 350z engine will fit in mt Razor?.

  • those are sweet would you reccomend getting 1 i really like the polaris ranger but was looking for something more "sporty"

  • @Volsfan21

The RZR in this video is very very modified, but the stock RZR is still an incredibly sporty machine.

A couple weeks ago, we lined up a 2009 Polaris RZR with a 2010 Ranger XP, and we were quite surprised to find out that the Ranger, while tons bigger, was pretty much able to keep up with the RZR. Both are awesome machines. Ranger would be better, personally, if you ride with a couple people and like some cargo room. The RZR would be the choice if you just want to have fun.

  • @SuperATVMedia Oh yeah rangers are way faster than what everyone plays them out to be and thanks for the advise

  • wow with this thing fuck the new commander

  • my question is...with this kit, is there any cutting or modification needed to be done to the body or chassis? if not then thats the baddest ass badass shit ever.

  • @kauaiboy89

There is a little bit of cutting that needs to happen for the engine to fit up. The Suzuki GSXR-1000 engine takes up a bit more space than the Polaris 800 (760cc), and this required the passenger seat to be pushed forward about 4-Inches. Also, to keep the driver from going deaf some custom pipes had to be made. There are also some new engine mounts that need to be connected to the existing frame.

  • @kauaiboy89

When the time comes for us to sell this kit, we will have it down to a science, and will detail only the necessary modifications and cuts, and will of course provide 100% of the stuff needed (except the 2006 GSXR-1000 engine since you can almost do a straight trade of your RZR engine for one) to get the job done.

  • So, for $6 - 7k I can buy a kit that you showed me can whip donuts on an airstrip I'm no Peter Jackson but if I was going to showcase this kit it would'nt have a been a 2 minute video on "how to melt tires". Put some paddles on that bad boy and take it to the dunes!

  • We actually never intended to sell this kit. This was just a fun project that a TON of people started asking us about. So, in our defense, we're just trying to shoot fun videos of the GSX-RZR; not sell it. The prices given in my previous posts have just been in response to the overwhelming number of requests for this kit to be a sellable item.

I promise you, though, that we will take it out and get more video of actual trail/sand/mud/water/whatever riding this spring.

    :P

  • that is so cool

    is the clutch manual ?

if u release a kit i will be the first one to order

work as fast as u can

    good luck

  • do you hafe to shift it manualy? and how does the drive train hold up>/? becase that is the sick'st thing i have ever seen....

  • You do need to shift it manually. First, there is the Polaris Transmission. Basically you just pick High, Low, Neutral or Reverse. Then you have the Motorcycle gears to shift through, while in the picked Polaris Gear.

    6 High Gears.

    6 Low Gears.

6 Gears of Reverse (will NEVER shift through reverse though... but we could!)

    :)

  • Technically, also 6 gears of Neutral... but that doesn't count.

  • @SuperATVMedia nice!

  • Check out the go kart Jumps

  • There are go-karts that can do that, and faster to.

  • @thorfoot1 So? You cant jump and land a go cart successfully.

  • so how much is that kit going to cost i know it might be still in the devolopment stage but i'm currious

  • @duramax4ever

We're hoping to be able to offer the kit for between $6,000-$7,000. People will have to get ahold of the motorcycle engine (2005-2006 Suzuki GSXR-1000) themselves, but the kit will include everything else needed to make the mods to a stock RZR.

We are definitely still in the developement stages, but these are our future plans.

  • is it still 4x4

  • @jdshaq

    It is still 4x4.

It has Polaris Low, High and Reverse AND the GSXR-1000's 6 gears.

So... 6 High forward gears, 6 Low forward gears, and 6 gears of reverse.

  • @SuperATVMedia problem the polairs trans wont hold up to that kind of power will it i know it wont last as long under that kind of power

  • @XXRichieXXrichXX id also like to know this.

  • @kauaiboy89 yeah makes me wanna build one

  • @XXRichieXXrichXX

No problems so far. I'm not as clear on how the 2 transmissions are hooked up as the guys who actually are doing the work in our shop, but we have 50+ miles driving like we stole it, and nothing bad has happened yet.

  • @SuperATVMedia is it still AWD?

  • @highdeserthater

Yep! It still has the 4 Wheel Drive ability. Still has High, Low, and Reverse from the RZR Transmission, and 6 gears from the motorcycle engine. So... 6 Low Range Gears, 6 High Range Gears, and 6 Gears of Reverse (that will never be used lol!).

2 Shifters. 1 for the RZR, and the second for the motorcycle transmission.

  • All that power without wheelies is a good accomplishment.

    Wild outstanding ride.

    Excellent!

  • Thanks!

Once the winter passes, we'll get this bad boy back out from some more riding. We want to take it out to our creek, to a dirt track that is near us, and maybe, just maybe, out to the dunes.

  • SICK! personnaly, i sell my kfx 400 2004 for my new 2009 850 xp polaris, i should change my name for PolarisKickAss .. anyways, my sister's boyfriend have the 800 touring 2008, the same engine stock* in the RZR, personnaly this is not enough if Polaris want to be the #1 sports atv, they should sell it with this motor instead of the 800 but its not a true 800 by the way, the 850 is a true 850 :P

    POLARIS THE WAY OUT

  • Like to see this on the dunes or trails....rather than spinning in circles.

  • put some paddles on that thing, and you would rule the dunes.

  • We may just have to try that! :)

  • With the GSX Motor is it still auto of does it convert it to a manual?

  • It is now a manual.

  • that was SICKKKKKKKKKK =) xD

  • Shit!!!! is it chain driven? very nice!

  • It is chain driven.

  • Yee Gods!!

  • You guys rock!!

  • is it still 4wd tho?? and is it a different motor? if so please tell me what kinda motor

  • This was done in RWD. 4WD is still available. We have replaced the stock Polaris RZR motor with a 178hp Suzuki GSX-R 100 motor.

  • holy shit... thats like the king of all RZRs good work guyz

  • So how fast is it?

  • nice very nice....are you guys going to do any trail videos with it?

  • Yep. We are going to do a little more work on the clutch, then take it for a ride at our campground. We'll have mud, water, hills, wall, and some jumps in the next video. :)
