  • Never going to happen. But I hate the official ending so badly that I like to imagine variations such as seeing a reboot where the Cylon's infiltration was actually detected by internal security. Thus blunting the Genocide attack but reignite the war.

See how that timeline unfolds. Enjoy a version of Cain minus the hardness and perhaps a promoted Adama on a Galactica II or in central command.

Ultimately I like the synthesis of human and humanoid cylon cultures. But they can work up to that.

  • hahaha, australian, at the start! it's channel TEN XDDDD

  • danm those raiders got raiped in the first hehe lol nice to

  • I love it !!!!! Greatest Series EVER !!!

  • this was a good show i liked it a lot but, hated the way they ended it which was the biggest writers cop out ever. what would have made this series better and last longer was if they had brought in a third alien threat which wanted to destroy both cylons and humans from behind the scenes.

  • @doctorw2 It was in Edward James Olmos' contract that there would be no aliens

  • @Kiwibirdman1701 mr olmos had'nt had an acting job for years when did he decide to call the shots for any show? if i was the producer for this show i would have got someone else to play the lead role and do things my way.

  • @doctorw2

Besides the fact that there have never been aliens in the Galactica universe.

Mr. Olmos has won the Tony Award for his acting on a Broadway show. He was nominated for an Oscar. He has won two golden globes + several less important awards. To get such an actor for a show with an uncertain future is probably not as easy as you think.

  • @MrAchilles1984 listen if i was the producer for this show i would have included an alien species to be a hidden enemy to add more intrigue to the storyline and if mr olmos didnt want to play the lead role becuase of that i would have passed him over for another well known actor to play the part. awards dont mean much of anything when your not playing parts in movies or in tv as an actor you must keep active getting any job you can get in order to be in demand by the industry or else you fade.

  • @doctorw2 any alien would really suck. leave BSG alone if i were you but to open opportunities, why not a lost secret expeditionary fleet tasked to look for earth since military knew war was again coming.

and they found earth after an FTL error 150,00 years later and found earth reeling from a cylon attack.

  • @nakazatoGTR no it would not suck if the alien threat was birthed from the cylons themselves i would have wrote in a computer system of the cylons which gets infected with an alien virus and takes on a life of its own creating a race of creatures i would call synthoids who manipulate cylons and humans to destroy each other so that they could recreate earth with a new species of human beings.

  • @doctorw2 it would defeat any of the show's real intent. if you got your way the raiders are aliens in fact not simply creatures of war, also cylons DID get defeated because of their long term goal of becoming more human, which is in fact more logical than creating other life forms, again this scifi revolved on military, humanit, religion, and terrorism which was so effective and adding cliche sci fi stuff that were nice in the past do no longer apply here.

leave alien things out. not good.

  • @nakazatoGTR well, in my version of this series both humans and cylons die only baltar and his followers survive.

  • @doctorw2 nah my version would have new cast. but anyone replacing good old' adama? frak we might have a really hard time. maybe a sean connery type... with a scottish accent.

  • @doctorw2 that's an interesting ending. but dr. baltar didn't have a ship. It could have ended that Galactica kamikazed like Pegasus instead of jumping away half assed in the hull of the coloney, a couple of the cast survive in the end but more should have been sacrificed I agree. Why after New Caprica, why were they so quick to melt their ships into the sun? The series had more ways to go, but they really crunched the episodes and just wanted to end it sadly, now they want to make a new BSG.

  • @nakazatoGTR this fleet might consist of a few experimental battlestars constructed in secret akin to a skunkworks group having stealth, equipped with a laser system similar that of the ABL(or not) self sufficient in terms of a long voyages, can produce food, mine ore, plus a small fleet of R&R vessels, or support fleet

stary may revolve at a near mutiny that worsens at the same time they reach earth 150 thousand years into the future, humans being attacked, the fleet gives earth colonial tech.

  • @nakazatoGTR allows earth humans to accelerate technologies in an effort to fight off cylons that were able to replicate this lost fleet's time-FTL jump.

cylons retreat but continues attack meanwhile earth built battlestars start roaring out in lunar orbit, slowly building a fleet to hunt again the cylons in an all out war.

this may better fit the line "it has happened before, AND it has happened again"

    this time on earth.
