In the future, I want something like that, but I think I will take a plasma TV for the quality. Now they can make like 50" TV. With Blu-Ray Disc, it's just amazing.
But with a screen like that, it is so big, I'd like that too.
I'll buy a PS3 as a BD player and a DVD player (who upscales to 1080p !!). for 400$, I think it's a good deal.
If you didn't try yet a Blu-Ray experience, you're missing something, it's really better than a DVD.

The black looks nice, it probably makes for better viewing and colors.
I like the bigger more grand sofa but I would personally get a black one.

Your theater finally inspired me to get off the recliner and do something. I have a Powerlite S5 on the ceiling as a temporary fix until April. and I bought the 360 wheel, It is Very Very Very Cool! I don't have HD cable at my house but I got a ATI Radoen HD TV WONDER USB from BBuy and it works great..
Apple TV is cool if your whole media collection is through iTunes. Otherwise I would look for non-apple alternatives. Essentially Apple TV is just a media extender running front row.

Make sure you get a blu-ray player, if you watch movies in DVD, your missing A LOT.
Also upgrade to a HD projector if thats not one already, but great set up
