The Cube is listed on Nissan's Canadian web site for spring 2009.

RHD is actually sometimes handy. It makes parallel parking ridiculously easy, and it's nice to step right out on to the curb (yes, I drive an RHD vehicle).

bad luck for us canadians i'm afraid,after a few back and forth e mails to nissan trying to get info, with no luck, i see it's now listed on the nissan usa website but NOT in the nissan canada site. looks like they're just coming to the u.s, leaving the small car loving canadians without the option to buy one. sad. i was ready to trade my smart , but its not going to be offered by the looks of it. unless they're skipping us this year and coming with the 2010 "electric" cube...

this car looks great. it's out of the ordinary and artsy but not girlie like the beetle. i like the uneven rear pillar. i hope nissan won't screw up the next gen 2009 cube when they bring it to the US... it's really a shame how scion royally screwed up with the 2nd gen xb.

I hope the american version fixes that odd uneven rear pillar thing. Ill get one as soon as they come out if they do. Id like to see a turbo one as well to compete with the upcoming Dodge Hornet. Ill take a Cube in Super Black with blue interior paint (think Mini Cooper S)!!!

fantastic news !! the cube, a smaller version of the scion (itself a neater version of an element) is coming to canada in '09 as a 2010 model, initially a 1.4l version...until the 2012 denki cube, the electric version.

it is minimalist and cool imho...will be under 20k cdn...miserly on fuel...room for 4...time to trade my smart car.

this is not a pretty car, its not even a hybrid, so for me it really doesn't offer anything. But its a step in the right direction.

A car is not an accessory to your wardrobe, its a vehicle to get you from point A to point B. THATS ALL. I'm sick of losers driving their car as if it gives them more self-worth. Its pathetic.
