Great guide xD althoug the first item u talk about doesn't exist anymore but it'll still be great if u replace it for a shirelia's. Love the other items and the way they give you survivability and great late game damage at the same time xD just tried it out and the result was a good 2/4/30 xDD with a bonus of a 2vs5 winning situation xD loved it, great great job

@azmidasimin Alistar.. hes heal isnt that strong like sona and on a fairly low cd he can harrass well with a aggressive laner but lacks ranged autoatks and needs to get up close to target.but most of the time if u land the stun its guarantee first blood:D

@azmidasimin Soraka, her W heals for ALOT and her ult heals for ALOT. Her E silences people OR when used on yourself/ally heals your mana, an dher Q is a farming spell ( i reccomend maxing this last.)

A good thing to add to all that is that you can attack people with her Q when your running away...i use it when people are trying to chase me down...i hit them with the Q and they back off most of the time.

@chendrim197 Yeah, Shurelya's Reverie is awesome. I usually get a Boots 1 then Philo Stone after my Chalice, then finish off my shoes first then getting Shurelya's. Shurelya's provides enough Mana Regen to just spam in teamfights, CDR (which is great on Sona), nice HP and HP Regen and an amazing active that synergises with her E skill.

To settle the mana problems, a Chalice of Harmony is enough (before any real teamfights start). Just with Chalice, I can lane dominate with just enough Mana Regen to gain 65 Mana everytime my spells come off cooldown. Pre-Chalice, I just get a Meki Pendant and 2 Mana Pots as well as charging 2 casts of her Q ability.

One of my favorite aspects of this review is that you name an ability and cover it with some video, and then name the next and then cover it. I've only seen reviewers list all the abilities and then kinda just talk about the gameplay; the showcase of each ability was refreshing!

@rsfan24 ya my biggest problem is whether i want to take Clarity as a summoner spell or not cause early game b4 i get all my regen she is horrible and I go oom in no time. So i like it cause i use the mastery to give all the mana to my teammates as well but by end game i have so much regen i never have to use it and i feel like its a waste of a summoner spell -______-

i like how at 1:30 you use your Q to get kills instead of W to save that MF, i laughed when i saw her drop.

For runes CD blues arent that good because her main spells have a 4 sec cooldown already. isince max cooldown is 40% you can only get 1 second off which is not worth it imo. instead i get magic resist per level blues.

also a movement speed quint or health quint works well as people underestimate sona and dive a lot gettin your lane partner easy kills.

also to compliment magic ressit glyphs. masteries for 0/9/21 work well as she's very squishy.

ofc there is always some skill but considering that a playerxhas enuf experience n common sense, sona is in fact very easy to play, even after the passive remake.

If she takes no skill to play then why do some people do better than others? You'd think that if she were this easy to play a sona couldn't be better than another sona. The simple fact that there are differing scores between different sonas shows that there is an element of skill in game play when using her that differentiates the players.

@colbycheeze rod of ages is good for all mages... but for sona she barely make any gold. i would recommend a tear drop first.

@breaky92 Soul Shroud is the most similar to the Locket, giving HP, mana regen, and cooldowns. Catalyst>Rod is okay, but her AP ratios aren't as good as they used to be. Philo stone is probably the most popular. Doran's Ring is also better since the Locket was removed, so I always start with that now.

My friend and I lane as morde and sona (matching pentakill skins ftw)and I found that by stacking AP she can be quite the carry. In a recent game i played, it waqs sona, mordekaiser, udyr teemo and kat against kassdin morde ashe mundo and anivia, I had went 6/7/9, sona can be a carry if played correctly, By stacking AP through rylais, deathcap archangels with magic pen boots and 2 other ability power items, and usually i start with a ability tome

The item was a really good support item, but was removed from the game since people feared it would make people (like sona) spam the effect the item has.

It's no longer active, so you're gonna have to look up a few other items for her =P

I personally think everyone in the LoL community just hates support champions.

I mean, sure, some people like to right click it until it dies 5 on 5 team fights all the way playing a super-farmed carry. Me, I used to like to push lanes and play as Sivir or Teemo, but everyone called me a noob for doing that. So I picked up support.

Then everyone starts calling me a noob feeder, because I'm soraka and I get focused every fight. maybe I should QQ less and just play a carry like everyone else.

@zBlazex Yes it's a baller custom skin from Leaguecraft. It's the Starcraft Ghost skin with custom particles and load skins. It even has multiple versiosn depending on if they pick a custom skin ashe or not.
