I took a class on the psychology of following immoral orders..etc.. and we studied these particular cases in depth. I didn't understand before, but now I do. I wouldn't judge the soldiers that participated too harshly. There were many factors. Their superiors told them these were people that are 100% guilty and if you can't get them to confess to (blank) then Americans are going to die. Our brains can justify a lot of messed up shit.

Hey mate i dont know what u know about interrrogation but it has proven to work in the past and present the FBI and CIA are not fools. They know how to get people to talk rather quickly. Regarding "interrogations", many times you don´t a priori know if someone knows something you may use: if someone is being tortured and doesn´t have anything to "confess", what does the interrogator do? Keep torturing until he or she dies?

ive seen this whole film, dilawar and his taxi passengers were taken by local militia that mortared their own town to ingratiate themselves with the U.S. military for supplies/help etc.There was an incentive for local police/militia to turn over innocent people to us forces with no evidence they were terrorists at all. I took a class on the psychology of following immoral orders..etc.. and we studied these particular cases in depth. I didn't understand before, but now I do. I wouldn't judge the soldiers that participated too harshly. There were many factors. Their superiors told them these were people that are 100% guilty and if you can't get them to confess to (blank) then Americans are going to die. Our brains can justify a lot of messed up shit.
