@ConnorRunsFree I honestly worked towards it by climbing and just trying over and over again until i was able to do one. To start off with, just do tons and tons of chin ups and pull ups. It worked for me,
From what I've experienced OAC/OAP translates to about 85-90% bodyweight... then add in the fact that you can do 7-8+ reps on that your 1 RM should probably be around bw+30-40 lbs given that you can add about 50 lbs or so with an 8 RM to a 1 RM.
I got bw chin about the same time I had 2 OACs, which is why I would've guessed your 1 RM on this to be much higher.
@eshlow So was I. I was sure he would hit like 150-175 lbs. I guess bilateral strength deficit. I don't think he trains weighted two arm pullups much; maybe that is it.
Great work. You don't work weighted pullups, though, right? If I remember some stuff I read, there is a bi-lateral deficit. Meaning, if you trained it (two arms), you would be even higher. Crazy!
@LittleBeastM yeah I've been meaning to try a one arm muscle up for a while, those barbarian requirements too, its the dips that are gonna slow me down. I did try a one armed typewriter in the same night as this vid but it wasn't pretty.
I weigh 140 lbs and can add 115 lbs total. I can just barely do a one arm chin up, not pull up. =(

You always seem to do pull-ups in your videos. Do you do chin-ups (one or two armed) at all? For me chin-ups are quite a bit easier than pull-ups.
Anyways, extremely impressive videos. Hopefully I'll be able to do at least one OAP/OAC one day.
