ok i havent watched all of your videos but i remember you had a daihatsu opti in one, what happened to that?
also did you pay for the shaken or was it paid for by the previous owner? and man that some cheap insurance. and less than $1000 for a car with 50k miles lol...
i dunno what car ill be driving when i get back to jland, but id rather have something a little bit more turbo'd and rear wheel drive lol.
Oli: Yeah, well, K-cars are getting more and more popular as the gas prices soar. So, k-cars have started going up in price a little.. but they are still cheaper than bigger, more powerful cars.
fallout323F: Good question! All "futsusha" (normal cars) have the white plates, but the "K-jidosha" (under a certain cm3 engine size) have yellow plates. K-cars use a lot less gas, pay less on toll roads, and have a LOT less power.
I dont know why the guys started to joke about your car, because they all drive small cars there.wich made me wonder if you could possibly get around in a hummer through japan.
You are right, there are some REALLY narrow streets in Japan. But at the same time, I have seen Hummers, cadillacs, cameros, big mercedes benz... plus all the Japanese manufacturers have full-size luxury models. I don't know how they manuever them safely, but there are lots of big cars here.
i was wondering if it is expensive to get r34, rx7 those tipes of cars, see im a initial d fan (geek) but im goin to study in japan next year and i wanna ride the Wangan c1 Loop in a cool car
rofl! You are right... I'll see what I can conjure up next time =) I think I need to tie it into some kinda of death-defying game show somehow. Hmmm...
Are automotive laws and regulations in Japan stricter than here in the USA?

how does it come that your number plate yellow is?
I thought that the standard colours of the japaneese number plate white with green were.

Forsurely, but I will only exchange them for screamingly-blue-tongue-making romulan ale.

For those interested: 1 man yen = ~$100 (very approximate...)
Posatrocible 4 years ago
How much are you asking for it?
zenhill 4 years ago
95,000 yen -- I bought it just over a year ago for 230,000 yen... but it still had lots of Shaken left on it at that point.
The shaken will need to be renewed in November (2007).
Posatrocible 4 years ago
Only $770(Give or take, that's a guess)? Wow, wish I was in Oita, lol.
