Fiquei sabendo deste fílme na crítica do jornal. Desde o início quis assistí-lo. Quando morava em BH, tive a oportunidade de assistí-lo no cinema e foi algo de outro mundo. O filme é muito atual e real. Retrata a podridão da sociedade não apenas nos Estados Unidos, mas em várias partes do mundo conforme seu habitart cultural do local.

@NMghost223 yes, that is very true. not offended at all. but here's the LIFESHATTERING things i'm talking about: the San Joaquin valley has the highest pregnancy rate in california. because there is NOTHING TO DO so people DO each other. The smog from LA and those outer cities falls into our valley, making Fresno and Visalia have some of the worst air in the country. We are in the middle of NOVEMBER and there were still some days that had 100-90 degrees. it is ridiculous. Visalia=dream killer

it's so surprising, i must admit. i LIVE in visalia, and to see a kid (even though he's an actor) do just that ^^ is nt very surprising. Visalia is one of the most LIFE-SHATTERING places in the world. that scence is so disturbing, and i really want to watch this movie now .

@GRice32 I just put it, i edited cos my intention was to put scenes from Six Feet Under(tv show) And those are all death scenes with dates at the end. Then I put scenes of suicide from some films as well and put the date just like in Six Feet Under, and I made up the age imagining how old the characters could be, based on the release date of the film.

Larry Clark definitely pushed the envelope with this one. Saw it, liked it, but only remember it being harsh and raw. nothing too memorable, even the threesome scene towards the end....in all, it tried to be as original and raw as KIDS but came off a bit short.
