I'm not one to defend jagex but, the Barrows doesn't look TOO bad there's just the dilemma of "is this karils or ahrims o.O?" But in due time i believe everyone will get use to it just like they got use to the HP bars or the Constitution system. After all they may seem similar but if you pay attention they have some really obvious differences.
