Rammstein and Voltaire are both awesome, but it really is sad that more people don't look up the translations to foreign songs. I like to know what i'm singing even if the lyrics are horrible. It irritates my parents, probably because they believe that every non-english song is making fun of americans. Yet one of their favorite songs is American Idiot. Ironic ain't it.

I have mixed feelings. I don't think Voltaire meant this to be taken too seriously, and given the way he parodies it, I wouldn't be surprised if he liked, or at least had an appreciation for Rammstein. I mean, Rammstein is a pretty good band, and it is nice to get some cultural diversity. I think the point here, is when people over idolize something and never bother to do a google.

Thanks for the annotations during the vid. I was unaware of the works of Rammstein before this vid. So I had to go and listen to them.
