Today, HK500 kit is fully alloy. I think no more doing upgrades ! I have HK450 (plast swashplates) I am happy, the bird fly well !

if you want a metal and carbon fibre clone, look on e bay uk, type skya 500 or skya jy500 theres some on there and there awsome, no difference with the align, part from it doesnt say align on it

Thanks for the response. the one that i was considering is the HK500GT with metal block and blade grips. I did see a 500 EP with an unpainted canopy and plastic head and grips. Which site would i look for the esp? Or is it the same as the GT?

No. Will give you lots of headache. Unless you are already very familiar with setting up a Trex 500. Otherwise go for the 500esp, will save you the headaches.
