u skill pheonix first if u want to take out golem at lvl 1. maybe try it because u take it out faster and after u take out that camp then ur lvl 2. at this point u can turtle the wolf camp... it'd be much faster tbh :) and i also build udyr as a more tank with locket or randuins omen to start off. but this build works too but more for a dps

@ernispel yes i also now use pheonix too kill golem at level one faster. Its a bit more risky but it starts your jungling much quicker.

Boots of mobility are ok for any jungler especially since udyr has his bear stance.

I strongly suggest you consider getting merc's threads against casters or teams with lots of CC. It really helps a lot.

I don't think udyr needs madred's razors but that;'s a matter of opinion, it does help when jungling and it saves a lot of time.

Don't buy vamp sceptre. Use turtle, it has 20% lifesteal at lvl 5, that's more than enough life steal, focus on the other items and skip vamp sceptre!:)

Aaaaand once again im watching another DPS/DMG Udyr -.- how hard is it for you to understand or atleast try playing him as tank? It's the best! all that extra attack speed from items is no need cuz of his passive and never have i needed to buy more dmg, totally useless! Just try to play him as tank b4 telling me ima noobs or whatever you suckers do! :)

Nice video, but in higher ranked games you should start with cloth 2 pots and a ward because udyr doesn't need 5 pots because of the turtle stance

I'm new to udry and I like seeing how to jungle with him however, what are your runes/mastery builds with him. I'm assuming a 9/21/0 build for masteries but for runes what? Magic pen, cd, mana regen, and then health quints?

You really should get at least one level in bear stance early on, just for the stun. You'd have had the rammus kill after the golem for sure, and that teemo kill at the start would've been more ensured without mundo's cleaver.

Also, if I were you, I'd get a catalyst at some point in the game. It builds into a locket, and that's easily the second or third best item for udyr.

I think Phoenix works better to kill golem at lvl 1 but the items you chose are the best. i dont think ive had as much fun playing any other char besides udyr.. maybe except for heimerdinger but thats it haha... udyr is so fun to jungle with.

Decent video, but to be honest you do a lot of things wrong.

1) Should hit dragon ASAP, as early as lvl 4

2) You build Madred's after you are already full clearing the jungle, it's overkill

3) Boots of Mobility are worse for udyr since he stays in combat so often. Boots of speed or defensive boots are the best on him

4) Red pot instead of armor to start (again, building madred's is a waste on udyr)

I havn't watched the video yet, but im just gonna say this.

Building Madreds razors--> Madreds bloodrazors is like op in my facezors.

I just got done with a game and i just walk up, bear, phoenix and then attack a tank and own him down in like 2 seconds while doing massive aoe to his buddies, then i just switch targets and repeat (Lifesteal is imba on udyr with madreds)

@holmedog Dragon is impossible at lvl 4 unless fully runed and everything has gone perfectly. And saying something is "wrong" is not proper criticism, for instance I dont even get madreds because I build Udyr jungle tank with innervating locket(I dont have the mp5 runes to go into Heart of Gold > Raduin's Omen yet as my staple item) and I do just fine.

the movespeed is in part utility mastery points, you can tell because of how slow the neutral buffs tick down

best weapons are Guinsoo, Malady and Trinity Force, always get turtle/phenoix up at start with 1 rank bear for stuns, at level 6 go get red buff or blue then teleport get items and go gank
