  • Hey guys? Can I say I am absolutely glad u posted this. It shows what our high school can do! =) U guys were great. For a second, when The People Song started playing, I thought it was the actual Broadway cast. THANK U!!! =D

  • My brother at 0:14. I was so happy for him!!

  • That was GREAT editing and I bet the performance KICKED BUTT!! :D

  • Oh my gosh.

Could you possibly post some of the songs from this particular show?

    You guys look incredible.

I got goosebumps just watching this!

  • Wow...You guys dont even look like a high school. This looks like broadway to me! Incredible!!! Can't wait to see what you guys do next year at the Freddys!!!!!!!

  • I totally forgot about the revolving stage. I was like "wow, what a cool camera affect!"

    Hahaha

Saw this. Loved it. Wish you guys would have won overall.

  • i saw this play and it was AMAZING

  • this show was so much fun to do (:

  • Wow, this looks really amazing for a high school production! :O My high school is pretty well off, and I doubt we could afford half of the quality things that your play seems to contain. Great job!

  • theatre is an art. art is not a competition, or at least it shouldn't be. i had a teacher comparing our theatre programs to sports...do we want to be that? we did not see eachother's shows, that was very unfortunate. but since we did, no one can judge anything.

as far as resources, emmaus has just as many resources as parkland. we spent A LOT of money on this. yes, your auditorium is nicer...so what?

art is art. if you have talent, it shows. congratulations to everyone.

  • Do you know a Devon Best, Ben Trout, some guy named Brian, and some girl named Mary?

  • honestly, i really dont know why people fight over things like these. we all have one thing in common, anyway: a love of performing for many people who come to enjoy our shows. the ehs/phs feud is just as childish as the lmms/eyer feud...and us middle schoolers are younger. you should all be ashamed of yourselves. both shows were great. so will you stop being obnoxious? please?

btw, i agree with chinesetakeout61 (syd?)

  • you know what's kinda funny? i have a feeling that the people leaving comments on both of the videos aren't even drama kids from our productions, because i can assure you that the ones leaving nasty comments on here aren't. we're all getting pissed off from people who's opinions don't even matter, i kinda feel dumb for that. i don't think any of us should worry about them.

    *official peace treaty*

  • i'm so sick of seeing/listening to comments about our acting not being as good. we didn't see your show...you didn't see ours...and it's dumb talking shit because of "what so and so said". please stop. this is so petty.

  • i'm so sick of these comments about our acting

  • CONGRATS to both schools on 16 nominations each!!! We both must have rocked.

  • I just want to say, as a former PHS drama student and Freddy nominee, that this is the problem with the Freddies. You need to stop attacking each other. Theatre is about artistic and creative expression; it is NOT a competition. The Freddy Awards won't even matter in a few months; it's just high school. I've been there, I promise.

Don't bicker over whose art is better, because neither is better. Stop hating each other as actors and artists because of a stupid competition. It's ridiculous.

  • the parkland version sucks, the ehs version was better

  • Guys this silly fighting is really stupid i did costumes for emmaus's production and i feel that each show had its strengths and weaknesses and just because our schools are rivals doesn't mean we should take away credit from how hard both our schools worked on the shows.

i wish parkland luck at the Freddy Awards.

  • You have to admit that the acting in the ehs play was better. Do you know Mr. Bowers? He saw both of them and that's what he said.

  • well they didnt now, did they?

  • haha are people really still bickering over two musicals that have been over for almost two weeks now? ...seriously...it's high school. and colonialbleep, keep your opinions that you probably can't even back up to yourself.

  • lmao sam no1 caress

  • well im sorry where is your family member in the play or a friend in it????? yeah i dont see one dana

  • at 1:15, IAn riley is my best friend! hes awesome and was great in this play

  • did you see ours or are you judging by this preview?

  • I know a teacher who saw both. Basically he said that Parkland had a nicer auditorium but the acting at ehs was sharper and more dramatic. It even shows in the previews.

  • I'm sorry but I can't really understand how you can tell that their acting was better just from watching a short preview. And hearsay is unreliable. AND I wish people would stop bringing our auditorium and "resources" into their arguments.

  • les mis is one of my favorite shows of all time, i must have seen it 20 times on broadway, and this one was pretty good, but i have to say emmaus' was much better even with inferior theatre resources.

  • Amazing job!!!! The talent you hold was awesome...I felt like I should I have paid you more before I left...5 bux for a ticket and I felt like I was at a broadway show.....Congrats and Good Luck!!!

  • disregarding cumeni as i'm not going to degrade myself and my scool, i honestly wish both productions the best of luck and i can't wait to see you all at the freddy's!

  • what really sucks is your grammar/spelling, and I think both people from Emmaus and Parkland can agree with that.

  • i have to congratulate you guys. as a member of emmaus's drama department, i know how hard it is to pull off a show as difficult as les miz. im not going to compare, because i didn't see your show and i was on stage for most of ours. of course there is a rivalry between our schools but chinesetakeout said it right when he said it took a hell of a lot of hard work for both schools. you guys sound awesome, i have friends at parkland and i just want to give you guys props. congrats.

  • silly miserable french

  • go meghan!

  • The PHS gave an unbelievable performance. You could see the raw talent and emotion on these kids faces. An incredible job by everyone involved in the production. Congratulations for a job well done!!

  • Emmaus's was better.

  • honestly... I'm sick of the childish rivalry between our schools. Obviously, both schools put in months of effort and gave phenominal shows. Isn't that enough? From my standing, there's nothing that anyone can do to take away what we did on that stage; the passion we felt and shared was incredible and much more rewarding than any contest between high schools.

  • wow, i don't know who any of you think you are. that was not right of brezzy to say that on here. but for you to say that about emmaus is equally disrespectful. get over the fact that we did the same shows. what's done has been done, and i congratulate every person involved in both shows because it took a hell of a lot of hard work.

  • This is so well done. The audio is incredible! (Meghan especially sounds beautiful.)

Thank you for making and posting this!
