theatre is an art. art is not a competition, or at least it shouldn't be. i had a teacher comparing our theatre programs to sports...do we want to be that? we did not see eachother's shows, that was very unfortunate. but since we did, no one can judge anything.
as far as resources, emmaus has just as many resources as parkland. we spent A LOT of money on this. yes, your auditorium is nicer...so what?
art is art. if you have talent, it shows. congratulations to everyone.

I just want to say, as a former PHS drama student and Freddy nominee, that this is the problem with the Freddies. You need to stop attacking each other. Theatre is about artistic and creative expression; it is NOT a competition. The Freddy Awards won't even matter in a few months; it's just high school. I've been there, I promise.

les mis is one of my favorite shows of all time, i must have seen it 20 times on broadway, and this one was pretty good, but i have to say emmaus' was much better even with inferior theatre resources.

The PHS gave an unbelievable performance. You could see the raw talent and emotion on these kids faces. An incredible job by everyone involved in the production. Congratulations for a job well done!!
