to them (China), it's an everyday plant that they can just pick in the woods and never have to worry about it dying because there's a bunch of them growing everywhere. To us (U.S.A.), it is soooooooo pretty and precious...and expensive :/
hey i made one like this with 7 layers it took a lot but its beautiful and please plant it in dirt or it will die sooner or later in water all plants need dirt/soil
its not real bamboo. its actually a type of dracaena plant. the only reason lucky "bamboo" is called bamboo is because of the notches in their stems resembling the bamboo grass.
this poor little girl works for pennies a day making these towers, hopefully there not making them for walmart or any floral shop in the united states
