I was gonna offer you my couch but hell, I'm only 50miles away from San Francisco. You can still stay here if your get here late night and you dont want to go in the "City" till morning. Let me know if so. There are two routes you can take. Northern(I-80) or Southern(I-40). You got to have tire chains if you're going thru mountains around here in the northern CA. this time of the year. Remember Donner Pass?, Well thats just west of Nevada border on I-80. So bring a friend. lol

In my experience people are far nicer than one would currently believe. There's a book about Route 66 out there that documents how people changed and there's 2 things that inhibited people socially. One is of all things, air conditioning, the 2nd is an easier guess, TV.

I got to drive one of those (branded as an acura RSX) when I took my car in for servicing last time. Lovely little cars. I love the dashboard. I didn't really have it long enough to get a real bearing on how good it was to drive or how good the ride was, but I can say, I was looking forward to having my own car back. Something about having something of your own instead of "borrowing" some else's.
