Why do people feel the need to comment on whether Dave is stoned? In my opinion, he's not stoned nearly as much as people say. He's an intelligent guy, who is always thinking, has a lot to say, and who is unique/quirky. That doesn't make him high. I think he sounds a lot more stoned in older interviews, like ten years ago or so. He's just awesome. That's all I know.

even thought this probably wasn't his best, he is still so much better then other bands live, most people that don't listen to them wouldn't even know its live which is what I love about them
these late night shows are notoriously bad about that. they tend to have really bad monitors and thats why so many great bands go on these shows and sound terrible. Not that this sounded terrible, but it isnt uncommon. you'd think think theyd have that stuff figured out after all these years.
i think that he just gets very nervous before interviews and such. he doesn't really talk like that on stage...

even thought this probably wasn't his best, he is still so much better then other bands live, most people that don't listen to them wouldn't even know its live which is what I love about them

these late night shows are notoriously bad about that. they tend to have really bad monitors and thats why so many great bands go on these shows and sound terrible. Not that this sounded terrible, but it isnt uncommon. you'd think think theyd have that stuff figured out after all these years.
