  • What's the point in arguing with these types of people? It's like trying to argue with Rain Man for God sakes.

  • now we all know...it was the Democrats who killed the healthcare Americans need. Dumb de dumb dumb

  • IM LEAVING THIS...IM HECKED WITH TOO MUCH STUPIDITY..DEMOCRATS..YOU ARE NOT PROBLEM DONT FALL INTO THESE REPUBLICAN TROUBLE MAKER...REPUBLICANS WANT TO CAUSE PROBLEMS AND DEMOCRATS WANT TO SOLVE THEM....HAHAH

  • Democrats , they are stupid they should had came out and talk Republicans are still doing too many dumbs things but Democrats are the dumbest cant poin them out .Are you afraid to fight or what?

  • I agree with the guy in the red tie. At the time that HCR was going through, Republicans were a small minority and shouldn't have been able to be obstructionist even though they tried to. Unfortunately the Dems have no balls.

  • Keep reaching you tool...you are drowning in your own kool-aid!

  • Approximately 8 million jobs have been lost, many of them permanently, since the 110th Congress under Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senator Harry Reid initiated their budget and spending priorities in January of 2007.

  • @TheAttackRat so libertarianism and conservatism are non-sense? who's the idiot. Btw they have never mixed that 2 things, nobody would be so stupid.

  • why is fox always 2vs1 or 3vs1 or more. It's hard to defend your point when you get 1/2 the talk time. You can not defend yourself. it's b.s...

  • I propose a new bill to congress: No salary rise or pay increase can be invoked unless done so by voters at the poles. No congressman, president, or any other politician can take with them on termination (being voted out at the poles) a severance pay greater than two months salary. Once that door hits them in the butt..they get no more tax payers dollars.

  • really Fox News-i won't be able to keep my health care-that is funny because i still have my same plan. Pants on fire!!!!!!

  • @angelinelowell For now......

  • since when does having the government envolved make anything cost effective??..some of you ppl need of brain transplants, hope thats covered under your government option.,

  • Question? Why all of a sudden does Chairman Maobama want 'Bipartisan' help on the take over of the health care? The lying son of a bitch had ONE YEAR to do this! Why the big push? He had the votes last year! The Republicans couldnt filibuster anything! WTF? You liberal progressives(communists) have got me laughing all the way to the voting booth in November!!

  • @darthduck1000 Liberal Progressive Communists...A Beck listener I imagine. Its not the 1950s. Do you really think Obama is a communist? Or a liberal progressive for that matter? All Obama is a guy who can't get anything passed because he has no spine.

  • @StirItUP1973 Do you see the parenthesis around the word communist? Liberal progressives are communists, plain and simple. And yes, I do watch GB. Exactly what does he say that's wrong or a lie? Don't give me that shit that everything he says is a lie. EXACTLY, What part is wrong? Or better yet, PROVE him wrong!!!

  • @darthduck1000 what's wrong what he says? for starters you yanks (including glenn) should really understand the words you are using... rant about socialism, what kind of socialism? democratic socialism? national socialism?

but ofcourse listen to the same old rants "socialism is evil" and that's all you need to know...

  • @Darusdei We 'yanks' moved to this country for one reason, to get away from all the European socialist, King, Queen, crap. so if you are from Europe and your ancestors were too chicken shit to move here, Fuck you and shut your fucking pie hole!!!

  • @darthduck1000 Eh actualy the reasons were more like religious opression, but i dont really understand how you threw in kings, queens and most of all socialism :D

i live in one of the Nordic nations, we have healthcare, housing, social security, education(ranked #1 in the world) socialist? we also are more competitive than the u.s.

""A nation’s greatness is measured by how it treats its weakest members."

  • @Darusdei That's just the point my Nordic friend, From Leif Erickson to 5 minutes ago, we left Europe because we hated the status quo. My ancestors are Nordic as well, but religious oppression is a tiny portion of the reasons. Good for you and your 1000% tax rate, we here in the USA, use our own money to buy our own health care, housing, and education. We don't rely on 'Big Daddy' government to wipe our ass! Freedom, if you haven't had it, then you don't know!

  • @darthduck1000 Marxist and Communist countries build fences to keep the population in and controlled. We build fences to keep people out.... I don't see millions of immigrants busting down Cuba, China and Europe's door to get in!!!

  • @darthduck1000 moronic idiot nordic nations have more rent than U.S. and are happier by studies, and yea they are more socialist but they are also capitalist and free countries.

  • @crazy3d Then fucking move there, Pack your shit and get the fuck out! We do not need you! Go drink that Communist- light koolaid somewhere else......What the fuck is wrong with you pinheads??

  • @darthduck1000 saying the truth and debunking nonsense is not wrong but right. Communist-light koolaid haha that's a good one.

  • @StirItUP1973 1950's????

  • I don't know whether to laugh or be pissed at these bullshit shill GOP pundits, openly being so obtuse or pretentiously oblivious to their own party's self-destruction and obvious obstruction to ANY healthcare reform, with their amazing blank sheet of paper residing as the entirety of their own hard thought-out plan worth derailing the Democratic Bill on the table for.

They're not "news", they're a GOP demagogue outlet; the other (actual) news stations need to stop treating them as such.

  • what no pills? come on you are being a bit easy on the junky bugger

  • I guess you're not that intelligent (not intellegent).

  • The only answer to our healthcare system problems is to "MAKE IT ILLEGAL TO PROFIT FROM HEALTHCARE" !!!!!

Just pass a law forbidding profit taking to administer healthcare. Pay the doctors, and pay the insurance companies, BUT, pay them at rates REALISTIC to the scale of what they are doing. They are shuffling papers just like at kinkos.

There is absolutely no reason the CEO of UHC should make 70-100,000 PER HOUR.

WHO is he healing? He is shuffling paper. Actually his minions do.

    Pass a law!

  • "Is it stupid?" No, but you are.

  • Hey you illiterate human!! Taxes go to build schools maintain roads..you know the shit you take for granted!! Your grandchildren will be left footing the bill for all of those that have no insurance and have to use the ER for a simple soar throat!! Who foots Medicare!!?? You do and it works! Why should I a young productive person be footing Medicare for old crappy senior citizens?? Guess what because it's right!

  • I have no issue with Medicare at the moment. I too am young and productive, I pay LOTS of taxes. I have no issue with road improvements or new schools, the high school I attended was 30+ years old and had no hot water in the bathrooms....don't tell me about new schools or roads, they do need to be built and improved. Unfortunately things will never change when there are millions of able bodies "in the system" that CHOOSE not to work because they'd lose that check if they did so.

  • This argument that people choose not to work because they're lazy (and want unemployment checks) where's the factual evidence for that argument? All you have is opinion, so come back with some legitimate sources.

  • black women (welfare queens) driving cadillac convertibles i believe. thats the myth reagan created, and i assume thats what idiots jabber about.

  • @FULLOOKKK Since when has medicare worked , unless going broke is your meayre of success.

  • @FULLOOKKK Health care is a right that we all take for granted (unfortunately) in most other countries, in mine we not only have a great system but it's the best from a medical perspective. We shouldn't have to cover ourselves and neither should our employers cover us.

Those who can't afford insurance SHOULD be supported by the rest of society.

Your federal taxes don't pay for schools, roads etc

EVERY CENT goes to the Federal Reserve for the supply of money to the government, what a scam.

  • I've just had a Total Knee Arthroplasty with the other knee due to be performed in February. My orthopaedic surgeon, is one of the best in the country. He did a perfect job, the alignment was spot on. Anyway the point is, I received the best medical care for ZERO cost.

  • I remember in the past something about a one car funeral with a Republican driving. Stop the wars, lower the monies spent of military machines, get rid of lobbyist (bribery), get rid of illegals, install protectionism (NAFTA and GATA), and for goodness sakes start a scientific democracy. Where is the argument valid that in the future we will benefit from any of the above forementioned policies. Health care reform or revolution in America? We have had enough

  • the illumanted ones are scary, wake up people

  • That is illuminated !

It means smart. Why are you fighting to avoid having healthcare?

Should we also make our fire and police profit earning industries too. And you only get your crimes resolved if you can pay enough for that. Sorry about the murder of your family sir, but that will be $50,000 to solve that. Really?

Start by eliminating 300 million a month from the costs of care. And that is just what UHC made. I bet we could "find" more fat to cut, if we just got the GOP off the ninny!

  • Republicans are not that organized???? Karl Rove should have been in this discussion and made that statement. I want to hear Karl Rove say that the republican party is not organized enuff to put every conservative pundit on the same page with the same talking points every day.... That would be hilarious for him to say it. My god, they even make sure to make the woman defending republicans much prettier than the other poor woman. They love to add such subtle differences & act like thats normal...

  • If the current plan ( HR 3200, since it seems to be the only one on the table) is so great and is being begged for by the voting public, the Dems would be fools not to ram it through with their filibuster-proof majority in the Senate and their huge margin in the House. They won't, because they know that it will result in rationing, long lines and huge budget deficits and they are looking for political cover.

  • Cus no one else lives in a scoalist public system with private healthcare for those whom can afford it, nation.

    Must just be me then....

  • loom up on youtube "Debt Slave" its interesting. and pass it along

  • everybody knows FOX NEWS IS AN ILUMINATI CHANNEL .

wake up america , SAY NOT TO THE NEW WORLD ORDER ...you can also check the busses in new york started to be have video cameras !!! just like europe where nobody is free anymore...

    LA REVOUCION !!!

  • Of course they are stupid enough to walk into this trap. Is there a more pathetic human being than Harry "Killer" Reid?

  • Saying your the number 1 cable news channel is like saying you have the biggest d!ck in China

    Your not really saying anything

  • Once your brain is completely developed, you will realise how ditsy you really are.

  • No, the private health care providers would be forced to reduce their costs, thus reducing their profits. In addition, they will have to reform their use of existing conditions.

The private providers are only for eliminating the use of existing conditions because the public is interested in getting that reformed.

  • One of these days those tv newsers will go too far with the labeling. Ones true nature is revealed in accusation.

  • I hope this guy didn't quit a decent job to do this. Boring, boring, boring. Here's what he really needs to say: "Somebody...please HELP ME! I'm a left-wing lunatic, and I'm not even funny!" Boo-freakin'-hoo, buddy! Here's a tissue....

  • lol you'd think that a conservative pig would kind of chuckle at the point he made at the end of the clip. Your obviously just trolling TYT, its obvious.

  • Oh, Please. Spare me your silly banter. Unfortunately, neither party is capable of even a moment of original thought.

  • ehh yeah it looks like over 77,000 subscribers disagree with you.

    Thanks!

  • ...so what you are saying is that in all the U.S. these "subscribers" (trolls don't count as people, you know) wouldn't fill

the Rose Bowl stadium? Pretty weak.

  • i'm kinda new to this, but isn't a "troll" someone who makes factless/pointless comments just to get people upset? sorta like... you?

  • Rupert Murdoch is the ultimate Troll

  • HAHAHAAH I love this! I love watching the liberals LOSE their own issues!

  • i agree! screw reform! i hope we all go bankrupt from healthcare bills! yay!

  • Replican's bullshit spin doctrine and the democrat's constant gullibility ... bang on TYT! Where's Nader when you need him?

  • Fix News is the least accurate and the most deranged news network of the big 3. I wouldn't believe anything Fox News states as fact because unlike news organizations they dont fact check anything they just assert absurd claims and try to continue their agenda regardless who they hurt

  • Republican politicians have NO PLAN on providing healthcare to those who either can't afford it or can't get anyone to insure them.

NO PLAN whatsoever. They offer nothing because they don't care.

And the people who don't have any healthcare who support the Republicans have got to be the dumbest people on the planet. Supporting a political party that doesn't give a rat's ass if you get sick and can't afford treatment. Wow. That's beyond stupid.

  • Id like to know all the details involving the healthcare reform bill. I dont know enough about it to be for or against it. I like the idea of every citizen having health care, but im wary to be in favor of it after i look at other countries that have national healthcare coverage. It would be unaccaptable for the reform to inadvertently drive the cost of premiums up on private healthcare.

  • I agree this is the Democrats' fault, they need to get this bill passed, they have the numbers to get the bill passed.

  • AND (last one I promise)...I never met anyone or heard anyone say they are against healthCARE reform. The argument isn't about healthcare. Everyone deserves access to healthcare and EVERYONE HAS IT!

The argument is about who will pay for it. Should I have to pay for someone else to get a triple bypass? I dont think so and most Americans agree with that.

  • "...EVERYONE HAS IT!"

If they can afford it. According to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services "Medicaid does not provide medical assistance for all poor persons." Good luck even getting health insurance if you have a "preexisting condition."

So the guy that needs a bypass goes to the hospital without insurance, who pays the bill? We all do. Better cheaper access to health care from the beginning might have prevented the need for it in the first place. "An ounce of prevention..."

  • And also, eve wonder why the healthcare needs to be done 'NOW' and it is so 'VITAL' yet the bill will not take effect until 2013?

Seems interesting that the healthcare will kick in 3 months (January) AFTER the 2012 Presidential election (November).

  • The liberals are trying to pull republicans into the bill because if it fails, they can point fingers. It's an old play out of the Rove book (which was genius).

Remember 2004? How could Bush win a second term with an unpopular war and a 40% approval rating? Simple...Kerry was "for the war before he was against it".

Same thing here. Dems dont need republicans, but they want republicans so if/when it turns to shit, they can point fingers.

  • Comment removed

  • that's great relay effective :D

  • generalization, stating that all liberals are lies i doubt you have met every single liberal, so another week argument you have :D

  • ahhh seems your stereotyping ... tut tut a week argument there. :D

  • Yes it did.... the war began in 1959 you idot. As a result of Eisenhower providing military advisers this fueled escalation to offensive combat. Just because offensive operations didn't begin until 1966 doesn't mean that America wasn't already involved the war by assisting the south via military advisers. And also it still ended with a republican.

Unfortunately i am not going to go as far as calling you what you called me even though you rightly deserve it. I still laugh at you. you amuse me.

  • the guy on the left is playing to american ignorance of how our governmental system works. u don't have to have republican seats in the senate to have influence bcuz they have democrat friends that owe them "favors" or are willing to compromise poor americans that can't afford health insurance for their own gain.

  • get a life

  • o yes blame the left... even though Eisenhower was president at the start of the war and ford was president at the end of the war both republicans. You keep saying the left this and the left that which out anoy physical evidence ha i laugh at you :D

  • wow you say this person cannot debate yet you are threatening to spam him becuse he disagrees with you.... it seems you canot handle a debat.

Also enough with the swear words it only lowers the already pathetic argument you have.

  • well obviously he can read as he read glen beck on the book... also if that was intended to be an insult it was week at best.

Also just because the it is number 1 does not prove anything, alot of people are taken in by glean beak that doesn't mean he is correct.

  • i get a kick out of you trying to start shit with like 12 different people on this one video...i'm glad i blocked your "i mark comments as spam even if they aren't" ass.

    get a life, kid.

  • I think your forgetting something, what was it... oh yeah, around late 1800's the republican party changed its name to the democratic party. Epic Fail.

  • this has been going on for years .............

    its call racist

  • the whole "were working with you thing" is BS.

the whole "you can get the bill passed why arnt you doing it" is true.

  • I agree with Cenk. If Faux News changed their name to Republican Opinion Network I wouldn't have a problem with it whatsoever. "Fair & Balanced" is the biggest joke on TV.

  • if fox was fair and balanced i wouldn't watch it to get a laugh. MSNBC is left wing, i think cnn is a fair as ur going to get but its boring isn't it!

  • All television media is fucked to some point... This is something liberals and conservatives need to get over... Attacking Fox all day long because it's the only right wing news site gets so damned old... Of course it's not fair and balanced, it's 'fair and balanced' from their perspectives, that's basically it. Read any American Government book for instance, I guarantee there will be at least SOME partisanship biased. It's inevitable. But Fox is still better than this CRAP.

  • conspiracy theory is a good buzzword to discredit a opinion from the start and fox knows that. The idea that someone could generally believe that there exist conspiracies in politics and industry seems to be something that is inconceivable in public opinion. Pretty ridiculous imo.

  • Wait, intelligent people still watch FOX? And then they think it is real news?

  • Sadly, I fear that ignorant people outnumber intelligent people in this debate, and as such more ignorant people watch FOX because it's much easier to be spoon fed lies then to actually go out and read the bill itself... That would actually require the will to do something other than scream "HELL NO!" at the top of your lungs for no real reason other than because other ppl are doing it too.

  • It's sad that we went from a country that fought for our rights. To a country where people agree in the masses about things they don't even understand or take the time to learn. Just because it is easier then actually doing something.

  • I saw a guy at the airport..he was dressed nicely and had a somewhat intellegent look, but then i saw a glenn beck book in his hand....I guess its true don't judge a book by its cover...

  • Just because he had the book?

He could just be tryin to understand the insanity that is Glenn Beck a bit more.

    You assume too much.

  • That is an idiosyncrasy, How can one understand insanity?

  • No one thought nationalized healthcare was a good idea, until Obama showed interest, then democrats act like it's blasphemy to go against something, that is as large as the bible, and probably a hell of a lot more complicated, from being passed... Keep in mind, they wanted to pass this before anyone even read it. This show is sad

  • "Keep in mind, they wanted to pass this before anyone even read it."

    1) You know Bush did the exact same thing right? The thing is......now people HAVE read it, because conservatives they whine and lie about what is in it.

    2) the healthcare won't be nationalized. It'll only be an option. Blasphemy? Hardly. Notice how WE aren't arresting YOU when YOU protest at OUR events. Fuck, you guys even get to bring guns.

  • yeah the conservatives/republicans don't realize how much liberty they really have when LIBERALS are in office do they? try to bring a gun to a bush rally..shit at a bush event a guy got tazed for talking out of turn LMAO...we seem to forget these things....

  • uhh...were you around during the clinton admin?

  • The whole time.....

  • I am a Conservative and I will say that Republicans do want it to die, a far as it being a conspiracy theory, I never would have thought that, although I generally object to the term conspiracy theory anyway, and certain things that at one point could have been conspiracy theories have now been proven.

  • i wish that were true, but it's going to take a lot more than "everyone seeing 'publicans for what they are" to disband the party. remember, this is the group headed up by fox.

  • You can spin it any way you want, but,

    John Fund has it right.

    The Democrats have,

    the Senate,

    the Congress, and

    the Presidency.

Call FOX a joke if you like, but

don't blame the Republicans in the process

for your failure to pass health care "reform".

  • that common practice is the "over treatment" of patients for insurance reasons, which has been a problem in your country for years.

  • fox is a joke my friend, I watched it from England while your Presidential battle was playing out, it was so biased toward Mcain and Palin it made me sick!! as for your medical care my UK doctor spent some time working in a New York surgery where he cleared a waiting room in double time, he was told soon after by another doctor that, quote: "you are a dangerous man" why? well, alls he did was simplify the treatment of patients, but that was just the problem, he never stuck to common practice

  • Fox is a joke and yet they have huge ratings. It is sad to see so many people fooled by the media, especially one as obviously false as Fox. This is the problem with allowing big business to own media networks. I'm not kiddinbg myself, all of the media is bias, whether you recognize it or not.

  • the same guys said who denied the possibility of a financial crisis

  • Quite frankly...

Public option is not the best option for the country.

And end to the big corporation private healthcare would be the best for both the people and the economy.

POTUS Obama should force it and then let the GOP try to take it away from the people netx time they are elected.

The government should be "of the the people for the people" and not "of the profit for the profit".

Make the POTUS keep his promises and fulfill his dutty to his real bosses: the american people.

  • Your comment is confusing. Your not for the public option or private healthcare so what are you for? I hope its single payer at least.

  • The function of the governement is to work for the people.

Providing healthcare is one of the obligations of any government.

So yes I am for single payer and the end of blood sucking HMO's.

It has gottne to the point that all other industries are suffering because of the financial success of HMO's. It just all looks ridicullous

  • Where did the blood sucking HMO's come from karl?

  • Blood sucking HMO's came from Richard Nixon and his introduction of Kaiser which then led to the formation of Kaiser/Permanente. Are you kidding me, this is well known facts that blood sucking Republicans created blood sucking HMO's.

  • Just wanted to make sure you understood you are advocating the extention of the blood sucking.

  • Right and it came from the Republicans. Thanks for agreeing with me.

  • I did not realize you were not Karl. So you advocate blood sucking depending on the name of the leech? Democrats are good leeches and Republicans are bad leeches?

  • Democrats=spineless and chickenshit.

    Republicans=lying and evil.

  • yea, you pretty much hit the nail on the head... but they are what we have, then what choices are we really left with?

  • No one except independents. Maybe they aren't bought by the corporations.

  • Quite the contrary. Clinton, who overall was a decent president, made some bad mistakes.NAFTA, which rapes third world countries economy is the definition of leeching. You meant to ask Karl but emailed me by mistake and asked "Where did the blood sucking HMO's come from? And I answered you, from Nixon and his introduction of Kaiser a horrible HMO. Not saying Democrats don't leech themselves, just not to the extent of Republicans who are the worst, or do it better depending on which side you take.

  • because the rightwing dems will vote for this if it had republican votes they would more likely vote for the bills.

  • eviltube shut the fuck...the dems pass health care because stupuid gop idits like your dumb white ass, dont know what to do u stupid reagan lover

  • The Democrats have not passed the health care reform because they are (1) a bunch of pussies, (2) corporate cock-suckers, or (3) both.

  • No, it's not biased, which is why I don't see a bias.

    Like I said, I'm waiting.

  • We're not upset. I hear this shit all the time, so if anything, I'm actually quite bored by it.

  • I watch CNN all the time, and I have never found one instance of them being intentionally liberal.

I defy you to find me ONE instance where they were.

    I'm waiting.

  • to say that the GOP is against health care reform is nothing short of pure conspiracy and nonsense, every republican is in favor of helping the poor, lowering costs, and imporving quality, what we dont want is some kind of neo nazi health care system where the government kills the elderly and rations care to decide who lives and who dies

  • Yes, the healthcare sharks will have to think of another way to scam Americans out of their deserved and paid for healthcare. The Republicans have opposed healthcare all the way they need to stop lying. I totally blame them and faux news.

  • What Cenk seems not to realize is that the Democratic Party and the Republican Party are the SAME party.

  • no they are not the both right wings of the same party but they are not totally same

  • man, they pretend to fight on TV, but behind closed doors they all agree on the same bullshit. we are not geniuses and we can figure out what the republicans are doing with the healthcare reform lies....u think obama is not aware?....he is intentionally not fighting the republicans....that's the ONLY logical explanation for obama's apparent passive stand on healthcare reform.

  • i was joking i agree with you. of course why else would he not fight them. its political suicide not to make this a bear knuckle. take it to the ring and see how wins that what a smart politican would do in this healthcare debate for the simple fact that he has popularity and a mandate and people agree with him

  • it's also the Republicans simply trying to have their cake and eat it too- offer up a vicious opposition and then, just as their effectiveness is peaking, pull back and say- hey, we're not against the whole concept, we're not a conspiracy- they want to obstruct health care reform but stop short before they are labelled obstructionists. sort of like the tea party rhetoric, they supported them but tried to stop short of officially endorsing them.

  • especially jon stewart, what people have shown is that fox has this technique where they throw out an idea, bring on commentators to agree with it, ask their own viewers what do you think of it, and then report about the "growing" surge of this particular opinion.

  • cenk asked "is it stupid"? I honestly laughed out loud. what kind of question is that? If the democrats fall for this shit they deserve to lose in 2010 and 2012. period.

  • If the Democrats can't do healthcare reform with the house, white house, and super majority in the Senate, well id pretty much say i've given up the last shred of confidence I have in any of them.

  • that's sort of the point right now, the Dems, on their own COULD ram through their own version of health care reform- but these last days and weeks have been sent exploring options that would receive some kind of bipartisan approval- only to have those various options twisted into scaring Americans

  • Conspiracy theory?? Turn on your T.V., that's exactly what's happening lol. It's not even a conspiracy, it's right there out in the open.

  • After watching this I am reminded of pro wrestling: when the bad guy does some illegal or rotten move to injure his opponent behind the referee's back. When the ref turns around to see what they are up to the the cheating wrestler hurls up his hands and protest "it's not me. We are doing anything wrong."

That act so much reminds me of what the Republicans are doing right now. It's so damn clear that they are behind the lies and misinformation campaign to quell any meaningful health reform.

  • Are we really so dumb in America? Fox is clearly biased to the right. Biased isn't even strong enough a word. But now it is the #1 news source in America because the vast majority of it's viewers believe it to be the most neutral media outlet. And as far as I can tell they only believe that because Fox said "fair and balanced" a million times. We Americans deserve the lies we're fed by politicians and media alike because clearly we would rather be lied to than deal with the truth.

  • Well yes and no. They do dominate TV but I think that's because the younger demographic doesn't get any news from TV. The older folks may lean towards Fox but the younger generations go to the internet, so TV viewership statistics I don't think are an accurate reflection of the average US mentality.

That said you're right it's still a scary thought how popular they are.

  • Why giving time to the Fox and Friend whackjobs?

  • Fox News is so bad, they dont realize how bad they really are. They actually believe in the shit that they believe. It is shame that they call themselves news.

  • He said they were "trying to", did not assign blame. Secondly, Obama said they were trying to sink hHIS healthcare reform, which Fauz has then conflated with the wider issue of reform. And they are trying to block it by propagating lies in order to create fear. How blind are these people?

  • usa is gay

  • sure seems that way... but question is, is it ALL democrats or just some of them?

  • Just goes to prove there is no difference between parties - it's all the Business Party, with public faces they like to show the plebes. Public choice in the matter has been nonexistent for decades, maybe since the Civil War.

  • lol, fox is the source of all political conspiracies.

  • Obama never had a chance. This thing is not going to pass.

    We fail. They win.

  • I wouldn't just give up. This was going to be a battle fromt he get go.Obama might need to use that political capital against the dems holding it up.You can't say you want government to stop sucking corporate interest dick but then back off when it gets too hard. Climate change will be the next fight.

  • democracy is a hoax. its all run by a few

  • god the democrats are just fucking stupid... they start waffling and let the Republicans walk all over them. this is insanity, the repubs are just phenomenally better politicians than the dems, they are worse human beings, but they are WAY better at this game... and they are just eating the dems lunch right now

  • WE NEED THE REPUBLIC BACK!

  • If they are not against health care reform than why didn't they address this problem in the past?

    We Need A Public Option!

On my profile you will find the answers to some of the most commonly asked questions, links to the ez to read version of the bill, resources and ways in which you can get involved including phone #'s and so much more.

  • Ive never seen so many intelligent people make asses of themselves for the sake of a buck than i have on fox news...

like the story about business ethics and the puppy who lost his way...everyone is now a bit dumber after listening to that fox and friends conversation...

  • republicans are professionals on only one thing, snaking and slithering around things, and then knowing when to backtrack

  • TillMakaveliReturns,

That is ridiculous, in Cenk's review of "Inglorious Basterds" he said, "I consider myself a moderate."

He has said many times that he is a moderate.

  • Back in the day, Democrats got together with Republicans and changed our voting system to make sure all other parties became irrelevant.

For the past decade, the Democrats have been trying to continue the good cop bad cop game, but the Republicans aren't cooperating any more - they are so greedy and stupid they think they don't need the Democrats. Without a bad cop in power, the Democrats are having a hell of a time playing the "our hands are tied" good cop role convincingly.

  • complicit

  • Good observation cenk. That is exactly what they wnat. They want to destroy healthcare then BLAME THE DEMS FOR IT.

I would call it Machiavellian, but their approach isn't even that intelligent or even cunning, it's bloody transparent. Comon Dems wake the fuck up. The republicans are successfully brainwashing every idiot in America.

  • Hey idiot, he is right. Republicans are against the reform, but it doesn't matter. We can't do anything to stop you. Only the Democrats can stop it, and they are.

I can't wait for elections because you weak ass liberal Democrats will make everyone vote Republican.

  • It's going to be fucking sweet when the republicans are swept away countrywide in 2010. Hopefully it'll drive halfwits like you to suicide. You ignorant fucking scumbag.

  • Hmmmm ... I don't think that's going to happen. As much as I hate the 2 party system, it is easy to predict. The Dem's' are going to abuse power and stick to the party line thereby pushing more of the middle to vote Pub, then they'll have their turn to screw up and the cycle will repeat ... both parties just switch views around every few years to voice opposition to each other but nothing changes. Different faces on the same suits ..

  • who wants to start a 3rd party? anyone? pleae?

  • Don´t you have third parties in the US? People just don´t vote for them.

  • They aren't invited to the debates by our media. Invisible parties have no chance.

  • I know and it always surprises me how people can consider the US a Democracy in the true sense of the word. I live in a representative parliamentary Republic with 5 to 6 parties that have a chance to take the "5 % hurdle" required to get seats - and still most of us consider our system a fake democracy at best. Once in power, all previous distinctions turn out to be nothing but rethorical devices. True power (money, arms) does not bother with elections.
