  • The most expensive way to obtain CO2

  • I reckon this guy used cheat codes.

  • it looks like the brand of crack that Bill Gates or Oprah would smoke if they were crackheads.

  • shame on you xD

  • how hot was the torch and (what kind did you use)?

  • Interesting, but it works better with liquid oxygen instead of oxygen gas.

  • @HLiNaKRbCsFrUun It should burn faster with liquid oxygen

  • So whats the tube made of?

  • @Flixxe nevermind read the description

  • This should be the image for Wikipedia's "Extravagance" page.

  • This is how Chuck Norris eats oatmeal for breakfast.

  • @LeeTCowan imbecile. This is chuck norris's breakfast. lol

  • Yellow = diamonds. Yeah, no.

  • @LatestUFOSightings Actually yes. Both lab created and natural diamonds can be all sorts of different colours.

  • @LatestUFOSightings synthetic diamonds. Not gemstone diamonds.

  • @LatestUFOSightings Stupid... Have you ever heard of fancy diamonds?

  • Next time, melt real diamonds. >:D

  • If you're pumping oxygen through shouldn't it be complete combustion? ie. making CO2 as opposed to CO?

  • @sedwarg it is a practicaly complete combustion, more or less no CO is formed here

  • theyre synthetic meaning theyre worth less than the read things

  • @SleepyFoxMI

Less than the real thing but still costs quite a sum. It takes a lot of energy and effort to mimick the intense pressures of the earth. In fact the prices of real diamonds are high not because of their rarity but because De Beers controls their mining and actively stockpiles hordes of diamonds to artificially fix the price.

  • THE TEST TUBE MUST OF BEEN MORE EXPENSIVE THEN THE DIAMONDS

    .

  • So this is how Warren Buffet heats his house...

  • How do you reverse the process to make diamonds form co2?

  • @squensler Oxidise CO2 to get pure carbon and then heat it under extreme pressure i guess

  • Press quickly all the numbers at the upper part of your keyboard consecutivelly (1,2,3 and so on) and watch a little God of Fire moving through the diamonds.

  • You are a rich man.

  • @Phacias Synthetic diamonds are a lot cheaper then real ones but the ammount in the tube wasnt for free anyway.

  • @Phacias I don1t think they have cost more than 50 €, 50 $, 50 pounds or 200 zloty^^.

  • @MetalWildchild666 'Let's burn $50' ^^

  • @Phacias Only if you pay^^

  • @Phacias These are synthetic diamonds, a lot cheaper! (But same quality as real ones)

  • Diamond do burn.... too

  • Это было удивительно, как пламя хранятся записи на алмазы. Очень увлекательное видео.

Я на самом деле не говорят на русском, я просто использовал переводчик, но отличное видео!

  • i have a quartz tube but would be very afraid to put a flame on it like that... cool vid tho.

  • @bdhcarbon if the burner isnt set to a sharp flame there should not happen anything, but its better to not try it in the first place. molten glass leaves a nasty burn on skin and tables.
